Just because Naruto=Sasuke doesnt mean that one can't beat the other.

it all depends on the situation.

Kakashi and gai were equals yet if Gai used his red vapor he'd slaughter. or blue vapor.

They never meant equal in power, Naruto has more raw power, they mean equal in outcome.

Nope, Hashi didn't win because of power levels, they were both out of chakra. In addition, Madara let himself get stabbed because his plan was to gain the Sage's power and create Akatsuki without getting any attention.

Remember he can see through Mokuton clones and set a time delay for Izanagi, by pretending he was dead he could prepare his moon eye plan without the threat of Konoha or the villages interfering.

It doesn't matter what strategy the person is using, Indra and Ashura's feats counter each other. No matter what jutsu they use, the opponent has a jutsu that can counter it. It's why all transmigrants end the fight in the same physical condition.
