Which is what I said (Moon and Sun marks), and no, Hagoromo didn't create the Moon on his deathbed alone, merely he sealed the Mazo inside and lifted it into the sky, as I'm pretty sure the Moon stayed on the planet till then unless I'm mistaken? Anyway, come now, do you really think the Moon and Sun would be out at the exact same time when it isn't dusk?

In the flashback Ashura is standing in front of the full moon not the sun. But what I'm saying is the moon should have existed before Kaguya's sealing since the Yin/Yang symbols were a representation of the moon/sun cycle.

I think what happened is Hagoromo created a CT large enough to look like a moon but it wasn't the actual moon rotating the earth. And the reason the statue is summoned from the moon is because it could have been turned into the moon's core. It wouldn't be far fetched because the moon is said to be hollow.

But how would he send the Gedo inside the moon from his deathbed ? I think Hamura was responsible for him being able to produce that feat. They knew the Juubi couldn't die so they would have planned a way to keep it sealed after their death.

Hamura was known to live on the moon, it's possible he may have placed a seal that would work as a reverse summon for the Gedo. So once Hagoromo decided to split the Juubi all he had to do was reverse summon the Gedo and send it to the moon where it would act as the core.

Is that the full Moon? Can you prove it? It looks no different then the Sun mark and is even drawn the same as it was on previous scans. Nothing proves that because the representation of Yin and Yang being Moon and the Sun should there have been another Moon in NV world, and the Manga even disagrees.

Moon and Sun. This is symbolic representation, not literal. There is NO proof that the Moon was already in the sky, let ALONE TWO MOONS? LIKE WTF? Thus we can assume it was merely the symbols for their powers being shown just as it had been before. It's even talking about their POWER in the scan.

If there were two Moons where the **** did the other go? Or even Three?

o_O

It was the Moon, it was stated to be explicitly.

Only ONE Moon.

'The twins, assuming that the Juubi was a transformed Shinju attacking them in order to reclaim the chakra that was taken from it, faced off against it. And after a fierce battle, they activated Rikudou Chibaku Tensei, turned it into the moon and sealed it away.

Caption next to Hamura on the last page: The Gedou Mazou, the remaining shell of the Juubi, was later sealed into the moon. Hamura took command of the clan to watch over the Mazou.'

Right there in black and white -_-

The Moon was only hollow inside the core originally, Hamura and the Otsutsuki later hollowed parts of it out.

Because he did, it was stated. It happened. The only thing hard to gauge is the specifics of if the Moon was already in the sky or still in the Earth's atmosphere, nothing says it wasn't. In fact, the legend version of the story, saying Hagoromo made the Moon, said that he was the one who "lifted' it into space. This could be a hint the Moon was still in the atmosphere and Hagoromo or Hamura sent it up into space, but who knows, right?

Hamura was known to live on the moon, it's possible he may have placed a seal that would work as a reverse summon for the Gedo. So once Hagoromo decided to split the Juubi all he had to do was reverse summon the Gedo and send it to the moon where it would act as the core.
Never stated, never hinted at. It was 'Hagoromo" who sealed the husk into the Moon.

idk man, maybe the NV's moon is smaller than we think.

No, I personally believe that was merely a symbolic representation of their powers and not the literal Sun and Moon in the sky AT THE SAME TIME BEFORE ITS BEEN LIFTED INTO SPACE!

but my thread makes sense guys right???

It makes sense to a point - however there's a simple explanation for this - only Hagoromo's Rikudou Chibaku Tensei leads to a Moon sized construct. Nagato even said his wasn't as good as Hagoromo's normal Chibaku Tensei (nor was he as powerful), even Madara was said to be weaker than Hagoromo. Mind you, in this case neither knew that it was Hagoromo + Hamura that made the Moon in the past but this has no bearing on this as the Six Paths Seals are Hagoromo's techniques and have his power in them.

Which has no bearing on the matter. When Nagato made his he said he could have made it "bigger" but ran out of Chakra too fast. Madara's Chibaku Tensei's were nothing compared to the Moon. This is because none of them have the full power of Hagoromo (or Hagoromo + Hamura). Neither Nagato or Madara had the power to use this technique like Hagoromo and Hamura did. Only Rikudou Chibaku Tensei has ever created the Moon. The normal variant has only ever created massive constructs, but not ones the size of the Moon. We do not know how large Hagoromo's is without his brother's aide. However we do know that it is specifically his technique (Rikudou Chibaku Tensei). The last nail in the keg is that Nagato lead Naruto further away from the village so he could use CT, all of these facts should answer why what little was left of Konoha wasn't pulled into the CT (Nagato's still pulled in an entire mountain range).
