Why would you take that part of the Manga literally when it's painfully obvious that Sasuke was simply telling Naruto what he wanted to hear since he wanted to continue the fighter after he already used up all the power he borrowed from Kurama.

This is why money is an evil thing and the truth gets concealed because of it. All Sasuke had to do is; instead of "Indra's arrow" Just swap himself and Naruto with Ameno and let Naruto collide with his own BDFRS but NOPE! He suddenly got dumb. Dude had a techique that he used to slice JJ Madara in half and instead of channelling his power into that he made Amaterasu and that was the second computer i broke reading that fight but that's another story. I don't need to list it, re-read the fight, it's all there.
