Who did not live up to hype no side characters


Imo the seven swordsman i remember when Zabuza was introduced he was so epic the way he appeared on his sword like a badass and it felt like his sword wasn't anything special at all and he trained a boy that looked like a girl to solo Naruto and sharingan Sasuke.

Kisame was introduced over 100 chapters later along with Sasuke brother Itachi he by himself lived up to hype but not the group as a whole

Also back then when i had no idead what fillers were i saw Naruto, tenten, rock lee and neji fight one i also think it was another filler when Sakura actually saved Sasuke from the lightning guy aswell

Kushina (genjutsu expert)
Hinata (she should of gotten some powerup)
Shino (LOL when i was like 10 i thought he was on par with Gaara, black suit sasuke, and neji
Tobirama (he invented many jutsu but I just wished we saw more of him)
Rock Lee (kinda he was just in part one to foreshadow eight gates imo)

Taka( Jugo is a physco so i expected more killing, suigetsu dream is to be the new leader of seven swords man so i expected him to transform his body parts into swords, Karin lived up to hype but her feelings were suppressing her)

Nice list i almost included Oro but Kabuto was his replacement so everything he could do he did also not to mention he killed the third Gaara dad gave Sasuke his cm and defeated jiraiya. His hype was killed by Itachi though.

1. Minato (The biggest let down. The dude was hyped when he drove away Kurama frm the village but gets hit riht and left in the War Arc)

2. Orochimaru ( I expected more when he was revived from the curse seal). He got sealed and that was practically the end of his story.

3. Neji( embaressed the Hyuga Clan)- His Jyuken was said to destory everything made of chakra yet he never even got any screen time. Ended up getting split by wood branches.

4. Hinata (the biggest fodder in the whole series)

5. Ino( If I rememember right Ino used MTT to get into Obito's consicousness and divert the Juubi's bijuudama, yet she did nothing after and was a sideline fodder weaker than Hinata)

8. Hiruzen (known for his hype yet never demonstrated his prime skills).

Hogoromo wasn't a let down in power so much as he was in terms of personality. Even when it comes to power, the fact that people came close to his power ruined him, he is no longer deserving of the 'god' status he was once given.

I was going to add Ino but her performance against Asuma got to me when she controlled two minds at once and the way she communicated to everyone but she isnt alone she make up Ino-shika-cho

Hinata wasn't necessarily weak but she was brave she stood up for Naruto and never gave up she was meant to be a smart shy girl Sakura was trained by Tsunade and she was the lead female role while Hinata was training with Neji
