Before long Gerald and his guide made it to the village of the Spider Goddess. Upon arriving he could exactly describe the the faces that greeted him as happy. None the less he greeted them politely and Emily translated for him. Gerald looked at the surroundings and saw that the land seemed to be going through some sort of a famine. As such he was a tad distracted causing Emily to tap on his arm to get his attention and repeat the man's reply.

Gerald: "Excuse me miss Emily would you mind asking them what happened to their village."
