After Opening 5 gates and having literally every muscle in his body torn to shreds, having his arm and leg crushed on top of it and being unconscious, He still stands up just to prove himself.

He wasn't conscious when he stood up. He couldn't have possibly been awake to endure all of that pain. Your body shuts down automatically once you receive a certain level of pain. Good choice though.

Out of all the people on your list, I guess I sympathize Shino the most, simply because he ain't annoying, he's calm, smart and analytical type of guy. And more than that, Shino can be quite badass when the fight means real business, all serious and stuff.

Shino just seems like a "sit back and observe" kind of person to me. It's because of his simplistic personality that he goes unnoticed through most of the Anime, or at least by Naruto. I like him, but I wish he weren't so fodder. Sai seems like a better version of him, with the exception of having art rather than bugs.
