Changes I would make to the story

[Deadmed]

-at the end of part one, Neji and Choji die from their injuries. Their deaths were perfect there. Kiba manages to survive his injuries, but the death of 2 friends weighs heavy on Shikimaru and haunts him well into part 2.

-during the rescue of Gaara, team 7 successfully finds and saves Gaara. Sasori is still defeated in the cave, but the life giving thing was stupid, instead Chiyo is badly injured during the fight and dies, her final act delivering the finishing blow on Sasori and saying her final words to him and Sakura. Sakura is distraught that she cannot restore her to life, and curses her lack of power.

-the rest of the jinchuriki are captured as they were, but Gaara remains Kazekage and the war begins. After showing his capability as a leader and speech maker during the war Gaara is finally captured and killed during the extraction. When Madara fights the Kage, they are all killed by him except Tsunade, who heals herself after Madara leaves. She notes that if Gaara had fought alongside them things may have been different.

-instead of Neji sacrificing himself to protect Naruto, it is instead Iruka, mirroring the scene in chapter 1 when he took the giant kunai to the back. The Hinata part is omitted, instead Hinata is shown being worried for Naruto from a distance, but Iruka's final words inspire Naruto to not despair.

Iruka doing the same thing he did in part 1 would suck, why not hiashi taking the hit for neji and his last words being that neji is the new clan head.

No point sparing tsunade if the rest die.

The changes I would make.

I would have sent team 7 on a few more missions before the chunin exams. The whole friendship between Sasuke and Naruto seems forced whereas if team 7 went on more missions, the relationships would have been more developed and the readers may have understood Naruto's addiction to saving Sasuke better.

If I had to go with SasukexSakura, I would have had Sasuke show interest in her early but then would have had the Uchiha massacre in the present time and shown him change and forget about love.

I would have made more development for the villains so that we understood their reasoning and pain. I would have made it so that the are 2 50/50 sides not just a bias towards the good guys. I would want there to be equal or more fans for the villains.

hype up characters and fights for the future like Oda does: Shanks, Dragon, Blackbeard etc

Last of all I would have one more "group" in the whole story. It would be Shinobi alliance vs Madara vs another Group, I think a third element would be perfect, similar to one piece, WG vs Pirates and Revolutionaries



and these two things is the most important thing I would have done: Killed more of the "good guys" off and made EVERY SINGLE fight about skill and not just about OP jutsus. One example would be that Madara would have stayed like Edo Madara who was a mix of skill+ jutsus instead of op 1 ball JJ. Sasuke still with strong jutsus but more similar to the Itachi fight.

Tsunades comment about Gaara isnt needed tho. He WAS there and changed nothing lol

I like the changes you have made.Story would be better with these changes.

Obito Starts a war because of Rin. I would remove him.

Kaguya is a garbage villain with basically no build up and barley any backstory. I can't share her dumb ideals or even understand them. Madara, I understand a little more but I would make it so that we got the villains side of the story and the good guys side of story 50/50 screen time. Like in Akame ga Kill or Death note.

Hell, there are so many things to change... I could create a whole new manga from Kishi's source but infinitely better, obviously taking lessons from some great manga like Berserk, Death Note, FMA, One Piece, etc...

But one thing I'd change as soon as I've given the chance to do so, remove Otsosuki chapter...
Hagoromo can be from some mysterious clan or simply Uzumaki(as I always expected him to be).

Hagoromo, the peak of power in NV. Only Madara getting real close to that power, Naruto/Sasuke combo defeat the FV but never make it to Sage's level.
Remove "Next gen>Old gen" crap.

Characters directly or indirectly helping the main cast... Either get screen time or die, with good reasons behind the death.

Team Work is essential, no PnJ, it's either Luck or no Luck...

Tsunade should have saved herself and peaced out of there. Would have been easy.

Would have made people realise their fav kages aren't that hot in battle afterall. Because a 'weaker' gokage throws down like them and gets damaged worse and still can summon and piece herself together and leave. XD


I like some of your changes, but with how naruto and sasuke were growing, I would probably have given Sakura the seal during Sasori fight but now use it though having completed it she would be stronger at base just like war arc. Then from there later on show some new things

Shino, Tenten, Iruka, Ebisu, Mei, Sai, Kankuro, chouji and maybe Sakura all should have died in the war arc, and other characters.

Not sure about Gaara.

Kishimoto is really good on creating character and world, but not so great in developing them. In 50 years, a revamp would be wecolmed.

Not not going into much detail, but the part 1 is nice, team 7 needs more development. Part 2, all konoha 11 need spotlight, Sakura needed her own arc, a more likeable personality and others interest besides the crush. Naruto himself needs fix in a lot of things, he acted like a fanatic in the end, and i don't like when the main character forget about justice and forgive everyone. The Sasuke vs Naruto should not be the in the final, it was uncessary, since the war united them, so the vote fight should be before the war. Oh man, there's a lot of things that should be fixed, but Naruto has an interesting premise, with a rich but undeveloped universe.
