Kage bunshin no jutsu

We all know that Tobirama created the Kage Bunshin jutsu, but does it feel like he created it specially as a counter to Uchiha genjutsu? We saw in Itachi vs Kakashi fight (shippuden) that Kage Bunshin is not affected by genjutsu. Tobirama was cautious of the uchiha and they could easily control the others using genjutsu and Kage bunshin specially countered this. So did Tobirama actually create this jutsu keeping in mind the uchiha as the enemies?

It may also be possible that Tobirama might want to increase the efficiency of FTG that's why he created them.

Well he was cunning & smart--so maybe.
But he created a lot of weird jutsu.

Yes, as the manga said Yin = Yang, every jutsu Senju/Uzumaki have is meant to rival Uchiha jutsu. Kage Bunshin would have given him benefit against genjutsu as well as pre-cog. And FTG would have helped against Amaterasu since it was hinted Izuna had that jutsu.

Madara was older and i think Itachi without MS is stronger than MS Sasuke

Kage Bushins do help against Genjutsu to an extent, although I don't think that was it's original purpose.

I overlooked this scan.Nice find.

Tobirama was a true genius.He created Edo Tensei,FTG and Shadow clones.He has mastery over Kenjutsu and Suiton techniques.

Only if he lived more he would be able to surpass Hashirama.

This and what Uzmakimadara said about increasing the FTG's efficiency. I viewed Tobirama as the anti Uchiha, meaning everything about his abilities was made as a counter, similar to how organisms evolve to survive.

Tobirama was a genius that was raised in a war against the Uchiha. Doesn't surprise me that he adapted and conformed his combat style to contend with the Uchiha specifically.
