[Discussion] Exaggeration of magic power

Does anyone else feel that magic power of many characters have been exaggerated as compared to the actual fights they have put up? Take a look at the 4 Gods of Ishagar the new ones, and even God Serena....i mean Serena stomped them without even breaking a sweat and those 4 were supposed to be the strongest on the whole continent. Next we see Serena getting one shotted by Acno, well that is acceptable because Acno is after all the strongest character so no surprises there. But about the other spriggans I mean Jeral one shotted Neinhart....Natsu took down jacob in one punch when he actually got serious......it seriously feels like that no one is actually living upto the hype that is generated. It is really irritating and has muddled up the power comparisons....does anyone else feel the same way?

Yup, I feel the same way (I was kinda expecting it tho), the annoying part is that these people are beating other ishgar magicians (magicians on the same level or slightly below FT magicians with ease) and they are losing mostly by one shot. The only Sprigan that has lived up to the hype for now is the lady that could pause time, (don't remember her name - don't care to )

Jacob getting beaten makes sense (Technically. The way it makes no sense isn't power related), since Natsu was using the ultimate super more that was not instantly failing against Zeref.
Neinhart getting oneshotted was fairly easy to see coming, partly because he managed to piss Jellal off, but mostly because he's your typical villain who makes other characters do his fighting, 9 times out of 8, they're fodder on their own.

I thought Natsu's ultimate mode would be dragon force....this was just like some magic amplification....and wasn't that power from Igneel a one time deal
