There is a comma there bro. Its any Astral or Material Attack (comma) ninjutsu or physical is meaningless.

Kamui is not Astral or Material. It controls that. That means it bends Yata. Whatever Obito/Kakashi sees can get warped.

You keep misinterpretting what Yata clearly is stated to defend against

The thing is we can agree that Kamui works on the shield but yet you're saying it wouldn't work in a direct confrontation. The thing is there is also proof that there is no means to defend against Kamui as stated in the DB. Yata can't alter it's properties to counter spacetime curvature because once it become's physical it's occupying space in the physical realm and is therefore subject to the curvature.

You gave two examples of Kamui countering itself. The only thing that counters space time curvature is Space time curvature. Go watch a video on how Super-massiave quasars are formed. It makes sense that a counter curvature of Space and time would counter an initial curvature.

Why warp the Yata when he can warp the Susano alongside Itachi as a whole? If memory serves me correctly I recall Kakashi warping away diedara's explosion - which was quite large. And what genjutsu is it that you are referring to?​

Going on hype, Kamui's hype is no less than Yata's one.

Going on feats, Kamui even worked on Juubi Madara's Gudodama, that usually nullifies all ninjutsu which aren't made with Rikudo chakra or senjutsu chakra. And that was a Kamui made by Kakashi who didn't have Rikudo chakra at time.

Kamui > Yata no Kagami all the way.
