[Discussion] Since Baltigo was destroyed do you think Dragon himself lost?

Or is it possible that he could have withdrawn to save his allies. For all we know Blackbeard could have launched a surprise attack without them knowing and caused massive earthquakes which no one could prepare for. He destroyed the hideout and they could have retreated? With knowing the news that Baltigo was destroyed would you easily consider Blackbeard to be stronger than Dragon? Because the hype that has been given to Dragon makes Dragon seem like he's of Roger's level. What do you think? Do you think Blackbeard fought Dragon head to head or was it a surprise attack and they just retreated to save the weaker revolutionaries?

1st I believe that Dragon is beyond Roger for a couple reasons, he lived longer and acquired more info and strength especially if he has a devil fruit(enhances with maturation). I feel at the time we were introduced to Whitebeard(in a lesser state) there will be several key characters stronger than him and i believe Dragon is one of those characters especially if he has the highest bounty in the world. So i think Mano y mano Dragon would Rape the PHUCK OUTTA ***BEARD

Well, there were going to get all the Rev leaders together, now an X amount of people all heading to Baltigo, someone surely would notice and the island would have been found ages ago, so I think their meeting is being held elsewhere. With this weeks cover page, I think it's with Ivankov, on the Okama island, so Dragon probably left before Blackbeard got there. I think that Burgess was discovered straight after his message to Blackbeard, so when Blackbeard got there, all he found was Burgess in a cage of some sorts, or possibly CP0 as they were heading for the Revs for the weapons weren't they?

I really don't think that Dragon vs Blackbeard really happened, because if it did, chances are the entire world would be destroyed. Over-exaggerating that, but i still think he caught wind of Blackbeard arriving beforehand and decided to move the revolutionary army to a backup hideout to avoid pointless conflict.

It's literally just hit me now... So far, Oda has very much copied the setup he used in the first half of the Grand Line, what if he does the same now and Sabo gets captured? And Luffy finds out a little down the way and hears Dragon is going on an assault so Luffy joins in xD, would be annoying but I wouldn't say it's an impossibility because of the theme of things :dunno:

If Sabo got captured, he would be executed immediately without all the fuss that Ace got. Ace was only executed publicly because he was Rogers son, and the Marines wanted that to be known. Sabo's dad is just a random No Name noble from the east blue.

Also, Blackbeard has no reason to capture Sabo. He captured Ace to convince the marines to make him a Shichibukai, and now he's already a Yonkou.

To take his DF? To lure Dragon into a war so that they can take his DF, or to just kill him, the man known to be this huge background figure and Blackbeard kills him gaining even more infamy... I didn't mention the marines at all, this would be a war between Blackbeard and Dragon, to which Luffy could turn up and do what he did with Whitebeard, not acknowledge Dragon for anyone other than his equal and declare how he'd get Sabo back himself xD

This title has been bugging me for a while, Whitebeard has strongest man, rightfully so, Kaido now has strongest creature, is that either the hint that he has a zoan devil fruit and blah blah blah or is it just his overwhelming resilience to the fact that he can't die, making him the strongest in endurance terms, but strength in fighting capabilities not the strongest... I hope it's the latter personally..

Correction: "They" say that Kaido is the strongest. "They" in this case are fodders who most likely have no idea how powerful Dragon is (or even other characters like Blackbeard or Akainu). Of course, we have no idea how powerful Dragon is either. Hype is not the end of all debates.
