I am both tbh but being a genuine canon-fanon hybrid universe B roleplayer i probably won't roleplay as much here if at all. Perhaps if there were room for fanon based roleplay here i wouldnt mind. Sorry but i have to be honest here. Roleplay is an art style. Rules are good and all but being too restrictive and barely allowing room for creativity? it will actually discourage those with creative minds to join. Lets face it. there are rules here not alowing clan mixings and not allowing certain new ideas to come forth. If you want to use canon RP thats fine but expand your scope for once and create a Fanon RP section for those with a little more creativity. Not everyone thinks as structurally as you guys you know.

A Wise RPer once told me that there are two Naruto RP universes, Canon Based RP Universe A, and Fanon Based RP Universe B.

the guy who told me this RP'd for over 10 years and is one of my RP teachers on another site. All i have seen is universe A stuff on this place. Heres a suggestion Add a universe B section to expand scope on ones theories and creativity.

I am a universe B Fanon Based RP'er and proud of it.

RP is an art style independent from any other form of gaming. You create an OC and create your own storyline your own destiny, interact in a world of shared creation. Comparing RP to DnD or video games is just retarded. because RP is an art style not a form of gaming its used in gaming but tbh RP isnt a ame its an Art. take this from a RL Artist prodigy aka me. Art is nothing that can be defined by set rules or principles however in community based arts there are different views and is generally majority rule with some compromise. As i said before RP here has become so cluster****ed that Canonical law is at its extremest and everythings too restrictive things take too long to get approved and the guidelines allow no creativity what so ever. Its just retarded. I will not RP here ever until these things are fixed and a Fanon-Based Universe Roleplay is allowed. Think of the people and not just yourselves. If you continue this path of restriction in an age of social freedom and liberty, you will only lose members and not gain them i'm sorry but i have to be frank here. People dont like the system thats currently in place. Things have to change. The old system needs to be taken down. Massive revisions need to be made i'll be happy to provide such guidelines for both Fanon and Canon based universe roleplays. OCs arent OCs without creativity, Originality can take many forms not just in new ideas altogether but new innovations in older ideas. Theories, Creativity, Imagination, Deciding ones own path, All of these are what makes RP an art style if you exclude these. RP is just nothing worth saving because RP wouldnt be RP anymore its just, just another form of real life you have no control over.

So all you sticklers out there if you dont even heed my statement above you don't deserve to be RP'ers or Artists neither be honored by such titles.
