How Much Of a Big Deal Was Uchiha Massacre Truth ?

Well, I started with the manga, it was already in the 4th shinobi world war arc, So just wanted to know for the guys who were following the manga at the time of the reveal, how much of a big deal was it ? predictable or mind blowing, meh ?

We didnt know much about Why it happened, how it happened. All we knew was that Itachi killed Sasuke's family and that Sasuke wanted revenge for that.

For a long time that's all we knew. So it was meh.

yeah it was released pretty late after itachi's death, so maybe that's why..

I've gotten into Naruto before the reveal, but back then theories of Itachi being a good guy (in one way or another) were around already. So it didn't personally surprise me.
