So far from the hype and portrayal, August and Irene are strong. I doubt they are strong enough to fight against Acnologia on equal ground but they can manage to put some fight against Acno. And more like Irene is all planned to fight Acnologia. Hopefully, I am expecting a twist in the next chapter.

<<< Remember it?!. In that chapter, Third Seal is Jellal Fernandez. He is the last seal to activate the Face and to eradicate magic from the Continent. The end result of which is to revive END. For some reason CR translated chapter 368 as "The Third Ward". So now I am curious to see how CR will translate next chapter's title.

. Who is that ward and what kinda seal is still a question. I am betting Anna Heartfilia.

Yes as usual back to our Title fights for next chapter. That could be a possibility that Irene might be the Third Seal but but if she is then I don't think why Juliet Sun and Heine Lunasea will also be seal. That would be straight easy. Maybe if Irene is the seal and other two aren't!. Because Irene said both Juliet & Heine can join the front while she planning to counter Acnologia. If they were the seals then she could have kept them with her.

I am also thinking that Irene is planning to revive END so that she can fight Acnologia. We all knew Acnologia fears END or so Igneels says. But the question would be how come Irene knew it. But taking she knew all the stuff about Zonia conflict, it won't be a surprise if she knew about END stuff.

As usual I will put my assumptions,
1) Like you said Maybe Irene, Juliet & Heine stuff.
2) A seal pertaining to END
3) Something related to solely Acnologia alone. A seal on Acnologia whatever it maybe.
4) Like in chapter 468, next chapter maybe about someone else who is carrying somekinda seal. Or maybe a Jellal-Troll again.
5) Maybe a seal that is pertaining to the defeated Black Angel(Black Heavenly Maiden) at Zonia Mountain.
6) A seal that is something to do with FH.
7) A seal that is something do with God Serena.
8) Just a Troll-Title by Sensei for the sake of countdown.
9) I don't know.

Any more thoughts?!.



If she is that old then how can she be a relative to Erza of this era?!. Maybe a Great Great Great Great Grandmother?!>One Great = 100 years(1 Generation)<. So far everyone except August seems like young Spriggans. Only August is old by appearance.

I think you forgot. I don't see Acnologia fighting Team Natsu. It was foreshadowed that it is the 5 Dragon Slayers(Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, Rogue) that are said to defeat Acnologia,

. They were sent to the future from 400 years back for this sole purpose. Leading Natsu from the front, I think all the 5 DS'ers(maybe with Erik, Laxus, God Serena) defeats Acnologia. But then again we also had that foreshadowing of Zeref Vs Acnologia but that depends on when Zeref is going to get FH(fairy heart).

So far in the manga, these match-ups are decided more or less,
END Vs Gray
Acnologia Vs DS'ers
Zeref Vs Acnologia
Gildarts Vs Travelling(Endless battle for him ).

I don't think the seals of Face have anything to do with this as all the Faces have been destroyed and Jellal's seal was also bypassed. So his seal doesn't have any purpose if it's even still active. Also Jellal currently is at the guild and not part of the current major plotlines (the battle in the North, Acnologia and the talks with August).

And this is the exact moment where I would love a plot twist - while showing Acnologia heading towards the sorceress, everything would be different. Free-for-all battle between Natsu and his group, August and Acno, that is my dream.

I can see Gildarts with his power-showing (like on the island) walking towards the Witch, who mistakes him for the black dragon. That would be quite fun! Instead of a dragon, a "fourth guest" is a mere cripple... but ouch, lady, beware.

Seriously though, nice chapter. Looking forward to the next one.

She might not be a direct mother to her. The words she used and the way she used it made me think she is old. Now it might just be translation issues too.

Acno might fight the 5 ds but I see team Natsu fighting Acno a possibility too. Although 5 ds makes more sense.

As for shippers, I think they are more dangerous than haters.I was shocked to see Hiro himself getting involved in this shipping battle. It was a surprise that he himself addressed the fans.

I don't think she'll get to fight Acno as it'd mean certain death to a character who's related to Erza or at least, she'll be out of the game for sure. But, I believe her character is destined to taste defeat against Erza. So, the chances of her actually facing Acnologia are very slim IMO. Even if Irene gets to meet him in person, she'll most likely cease her plans upon feeling how big the difference b/w the two is.

From what Irene is saying....I feel like she is planning to revive Black Heavenly Maiden. "A black dragon is coming to the mountain where white heavenly maiden was victorious. What better vengeance could Black Heavenly Maiden ask for?". That is what Irene said. Now a seal to release Black Heavenly Maiden!.

But if you read CR trans, it is more like she is a bit arrogant and might be overestimating herself and her abilities. She said she is going to put an end to this Albareth Invasion. She also said that they could have won if they fought instead of trying to invade for obtaining FH. Kinda like that.

When she mentioned, the game board changed when someone who is not following the rules joined means...she is talking about Acnologia, right?.

I am not really saying all the shippers but the ones who attacked aya hirano and other anime staff on twitter.
Irene is somewhat imp to plot right now imo. The whole Black and white angel seems like connected to Acno's backstory.
