The boy's eyes are still wide open in disbelief, though his expression showed very little emotion. Even still it was more than obvious that the boy was more than surprised about the recent turn of events.

"I dont know how I get that ability, but when I killed someone and consumed his soul, I could get stronger.
"My name is Daniel, i am the white king of the shinigami. I do think of it as a gift because we are very similar, and i may even be able to help you contol this gift.
"That's kind of you but it didn't end like this. It didn't turn out well, after a long altercation I was able to devour a part of his soul, his left arm particularly. I couldn't consume it and this god took the opportunity to put a curse on me. Since that time I coulnd't consume completely soul of my preys, instead it's like I was possessed by them, I became a cage to hold them. The monster was born, at every New moon, I lost control and they took over for a moment."
