Hey guys! Can you suggest me a new laptop within the range of $650-$750? I am a bit confused regarding the choices available. The main specs i am looking for are:-

1. Processor : i5 or equivalent
2. Ram >=4gb
3. Hard disk >500GB

rest i don't care much. It should be well built and i wanna use it for general purpose, a bit of gaming and probably low to moderate softwares....
Your help will be much appreciated

If you can wait, then wait a bit longer. AMD's polaris GPU based laptops are coming soon. You'll have much better gaming experience with them.

I am more oriented toward working on softwares like matlab, plaxis and other designing wares.....if those run well i guess the gaming i wanna do would be covered wouldn't it? I am no expert on spec details and internal functioning.....

Well all I'd say is that you should wait a bit more, the next generation of GPU offerings are around the corner from both nVidia and AMD and they've moved to a smaller process node, so you'd get better performance at less power consumption. Something very important when you consider a laptop.

I'm mad because your price range is high and you didn't do any research like a lazy f*cking *sshole would do.
:rage:

It's not even that complicated.

You can get a laptop with 1.6GHZ processor, 1TB of memory, Best visual card for your price range at best buy literally click the link and purchase the one that has the closest specs to what you want. And if you're buying a Macbook might as well end your life right now Apple sucks.
