If Shikamaru had prep time to make strategies for each one of them then he might be able to pull it off.

And Sakura have a aoe attack that Shikamaru isn't fast enough to dodge. Butterfly mode choji is to fast and strong for Shikamaru. And even if he's caught in shadow possession he can still go butterfly mode since he don't need to move. If Shikamaru is in range Hinata can use 64 palms to end Shikamaru.

In Boruto the movie Shikamaru shadow binding jutsu restrained Momoshiki for a moment until he used his Advanced preta path eye so does this mean that Shikamaru is top tier? Once caught you can control your body you can talk and if you're stronger than the user you'll have some resistance to it.

Choji doesn't have to move to go into butterfly mode or anything he just have to turn his fat into chakra that requires no type of movements.

If you believe Shikamaru can beat them then by all means do but it's completely wrong. Yin seal Sakura rek's, Choji rek's. Literally all the k11 wins except for tenten without sage tools Ino possibly Sai if he's part of it now and maybe Hinata which I doubt.

Firstly, in order to have a chance, he needs to remain a long distance away from them. All the top tier ninja can close that distance very easily. Secondly, that's like saying "Konohamaru beats Itachi once Konohamaru cuts off Itachi's arms and legs and gauges out his eyes". While possible, it is unlikely to happen.
Finally, it has been shown that strength give you the power to overcome Shadow Binding. All the top tier are strong enough to break out of it, and the ones that aren't have other ways: Minato has FTG; Itachi can Amaterasu Shikamaru, Mizukage will use a Genjutsu ect ect ect
