OT: Probably Obito, he actually did things. Madara turned up, took the credit for everything obito did, and then got killed under a day later. if you play the "Durr, Madara was controlling obito" card, theres always the black zetsu card.

If the Author wouldn't have trolled him, he might had a chance to give this Manga a more fitting ending and Madara would have been one of the best villains in general if he only had the chance to get some more development and insight.

IF the author had given him development, he would have been a better character. He wasn't given the development, he was given a long, long list of powers.

Obito was the villain for over half the series. Madara was a side attraction for the majority of his time, and only became the main villain for only a few chapters longer than obito had as a juubi jin.
