yea there is and its because the anime episodes come out BEFORE the manga


its bizarre so ppl call the manga filler because it contradicts the anime

The manga is monthly, which is why it can't keep up with the anime, which is weekly. The FEW small changes in the manga, aren't enough to call it filler. Champa and Vados were in U7 looking for Super Dragon Balls, fits the story. What was left out the anime is that Kabito Kai searched for the Namekian Dragon Balls to keep Champa from making a wish, which upon learning Champa didn't want those, he defused. In the anime, Kabito Kai is defused and the anime glosses over it.

I guess whatever comes out first(in this case Anime) and which ever the creator is more involved with is what is considered canon.
So in DBS's case.
Anime = Canon
Manga = Filler.
