*Sigh* So if you haven't seen the reveal trailer from the new Xenoverse game here you go fams.​

Now if you haven't noticed. It has a LOT of similarities to the new Infinite Warfare trailer. Seriously, even with the big reveal of what you actually want to play in the last seconds of the trailer LOL

First off if you haven't seen my thread about Xenoverse you can check out my thoughts on that game down below.

Dragon Ball Z: Xenoverse 6/10

How do you describe disappointment? I can do it in one word. Xenoverse. Now in all honesty I paid 15 bucks for it but for peaks sake people it was 60 bucks at once. This game is just so damn angering. Like I was appalled at the decisions made b. Why these horrid blobby ass Play Do Looking Characters models!!!!!??? Damn man just be like the Storm Franchise and use that beautiful ass engine. Everything looks like an damn art piece in the demo of Storm 4 man. And the TokiToki menu/world oh God why? Why? The entire time I played this I was asking myself. WHY? Why are the servers down? Why is the character creation so shallow? And then I just thank God that they toned down the blobbbyness from Raging Blast 1 & 2 because man were those games ugly as shit. But when all that is pushed aside and I just pay attention to the story I just loved the game. The intro was awesome too. And the fact that my favorite character Trunks is in the lead had me wanting to buy the game on release. (Glad I didn't since they didn't do him justice but instead had him going HEY! HEY! HEY! Everytime you talked to him) Also the graphics are acceptable at times like in the scene with Goku vs Frieza during the story battle. Man I got goosebumps because of the sound and visuals during that fight. I wish everything was that polished and shiny instead of blobby and drab. But guess that's too much to ask from a company that will sell Raging Blast for 30 bucks lol the nerve. So what do you all think of Xenoverse? Did it live up to your next gen expectations?​

Yea, as yo can see I'm not much of a fan of the first game, but it had it's okay moments. Does that justify a sequel? Hell no. They butchered Future Trunks and they didn't create a graphically compelling game. Maybe. Just Maaaaybe they will give you more content with this one, but I mean do we seriously see that happening.

I mean as you can see from the trailer, they continued to use the same damn blobby textures from the past game and to make things 10 times worse, it looks as if they haven't upgraded a damn thing in there engine to make things look prettier. Unlike the Storm franchise which looks better with each game that is released.

Then we have TokiToki City. This could go two ways. One way is if it's FILLED with loading screens and is a pain in the ass to get through the city like the first game and it replaces the damn menu like the first game. Or Two, they realized how much of a pain in the ass the first Toki was and made an actual main menu and made Toki just an adventure environment. I hope its number Two, because I despise even the word Toki at this point. (ALSO IF THEY DON'T PICK SOME DIFFERENT SOUNDTRACKS TO PLAY DURING THAT BULLSHIT I'M GOING TO CATCH A BODY.)

The story seems to be RIGHT BACK IN THE PAST FIGHTS AGAAAAAIN!! Instead of presenting something new we're gonna be shoved in the throat with the same material for years to come. I can see it now. But I wont make any harsh suggestions since this is just a reveal trailer.

Honestly it's more of the same up until the end.... That ending... bro I might have to pay that 60 bucks LOL To be honest they know what we want to see, they are just Call of Dutying all of you dumbass's who don't understand what's going on and just want new content to find out you got the same amount or even less of what you got last year. They know we want Trunk's movie content, they know we want other movie content, they know we want that GOOD CINEMATOGRAPHY, they know what we want people. They just don't care, or have no actual heart put into this franchise. This is just another day at work for them.

If all these negatives are not improved. If there is not a better story awaiting us. If they don't plan on upgrading their engine. This franchise is doomed, along with the anime.

Honestly Raging Blast is just too ugly for me, but I see what you're getting at. Though I still don't understand why those games are still 30 bucks on Amazon. Its 2016 for peaks sakes.

Original xenoverse was far from terrible in fact it was one of the better dbz games ever based on graphics amount of charaters and compelling story (they literally cant change the fights too much or people will complain about non canonn shit in the game just like the self entitled people on this site smh lets not forget they actually added create a character which many people begged for for yrs


Honestly to make the game sell big all they need is created characters to go super saiyan blue Include some characters from movies that werent in the first one and add some more stages and what if characters
They literally could tell the story the same way i wouldnt mind

But your complaints arent really game breaking to me the graphics are meant to be cell shaded like animes so graphical quality isnt suffering like you imply they are just trying to keep the game looking more like the anime

Anyway if my created sayian can go super saiyan blue and do vegetas super fast punch im sold lol

Everything looks bulgy and bulky like a damn playdoh doll or something. I just despise this style and they have access to the Storm engine so they need to use it. Because honestly anything they use on Dragon Ball Z turns out to be garbage.

I thought Xenoverse was a very good game.
Sure, it had some serious issues, but I hope that they fix it with Xenoverse 2 and turn it into the best DB-game ever. In my opinion, the character-creation alone makes the game better than any Budokai /Budokai Tenkaichi game. The graphics are fine to me, the facial expressions were amazing in Xenoverse 1 and will be even better in Xenoverse 2.

Now, what I would like to see in a Xenoverse 2:

- More UNIQUE customization-options for each race, not just copy&paste hairstyles from original DB-characters.
- A real transformation for each race, not only SS for saiyans and all the others only have Kaioken like in the last game.
- All clothes should be tintable and only cosmetic. I didn't like to be forced to choose between: "let your character look like an idiot with good stats" or "let your character look good but with bad stats"
- No more super-saiyan Ki spam
- No more random drop of quest rewards, grinding is nothing but annoying.

and, last but not least, they should add everything new from DB Super. The universe 6 characters, ss-blue+kaioken Goku, quests about the champa-tournament etc.
