Size does not equal strength all the time. Just because his Avatar is bigger doesn't mean that his defense will be stronger at all. If thats the case his susanoo is easily stronger than Sasuke's even with the Rikodou power up.

Mokujin head also can be a protective shelter for Hashirama, turning itself into defense of unrivaled sturdiness.
Picture: Hashirama used this jutsu to catch and return back bijudama with just one hand. Jutsu only achieved because of Hashirama s naturally (literally chakra reserves in gene cells) large chakra.

First of all, Minato cannot apply Senjutsu while using Bijuu Mode.

Madara's PS also tanked dozens of Full Kurama's Bijuudamas which are stronger than BM Minato's Bijuudamas, so withstanding multiple of his Bijuudamas aren't a problem, not to mention that he can either repel them with his Shockwaves or simply fly to evade them.

It's fanfic to assume he can when there's nothing hinting towards the possiblity. Minato needed Naruto to apply Senjutsu to his attack because he was incapable of doing so himself.

Minato also possesses less mastery over Kurama's powers, so Naruto being apply Senjutsu during Bijuu Mode does not imply that Minato can.
