Senju are not extinct, then just mixed up with the other clans and the manga didn't focus on them. Otsutsuki clan we already saw Momo, Kin and Toneri. The former two are dead but Toneri is still alive and who knows how many other otsutsuki are there other than them. Its all about the manga focussing on these clans.
