Why are people saying Byakugan turns into Rinnegan?

I keep looking at these posts about how the Byakugan transforms into Rinnegan and how Hyūga's like Neji can unlock it.

This is absolute shit, first of all this is Filler and we don't know how Hagoromo unlocks it yet, it could just be in his DNA because of his mother, or something else happens which makes his eyes turn into the Rinnegan.

There is no connection to between the Rinnegan and Byakugan so there's no need to talk about it.

Note: Fair enough that all of these eyes come from the Ōtsutsuki Clan, but this is a really pointless debate. Also I do enjoy this Filler and could be classed as Canon because it gives us a different perspective on Kaguya.

Nejii has 100% legit byakugan, he can have rinne sharingan too if he eat the fruit or he received chakra from Naruto who can channel all chakra type from all beasts.

Everyone in the world would unlock the Rinnesharingan by eating the Shinjuu fruit.

Akamaru could get the Rinnesharingan by eating the Shinjuu fruit, so bringing that up is pointless, and still doesn't mean the Byakugan naturally progresses to the Rinnegan.

Technically there is no natural progression to the rinnegan. Only Hagoromo has the chakra of the Shinjuu Fruit which produced the Rinnegan (Not the Rinnesharingan).

there is not known to that matter yet, but he does seal up the ten tails and become it's jin (or all the chakra but exclude the body that later being sealed inside the moon or whatever :lol )
