Boruto Movies: Byakugan is a tools to find/hunt Chakura

In Boruto movie Kinshiki shown with no byakugan abilities it make sense because he is not the one eating fruit and locating chakura its Momoshiki job. While Kaguya backstory also portraits that she is not born with byakugan instead she is protector of Shinju but awaken it after eat shinju fruit.

I believe Momoshiki also is not born with Byakugan he awaken it after eat shinju fruit, that why he can located deluded cakura for far-aways. Momoshiki ambition is to find all scattered chakura of Shinju which is why he going after Naruto and Bee. And guess what, he find them with his byakugan because that is the crucial tools to find chakura in the entire universe.

A person who eat shinju fruit like Kaguya and Momoshiki will possess byakugan and rinnegan. These doujutsu maybe works as contrary to each other Rinnegan is the power that where chakura attack based from it used with Ninjutsu/Nishu while Byakugan is a power where to find chakura, block chakura, manipulate and seal chakura it used with Taijutsu/Juuken. So the doujutsu is come in package after eat shinju the fruit.

This is possibly two type of Otsutsuki

(1) Otsutsuki for other planet; Alien species not born with byakugan just dormant white eye: Kaguya, Kinshiki, Momoshiki
(2) Otsutsuki born in Earth, transfer to Moon: descendant from Hamura and Kaguya born with Byakugan .eg, hyuga and otsutsuki from hamura linage

Otsutsuki basically the guardian from Shinju but those disobey will eat the fruit and will be power hunger; eg Momoshiki and Kaguya.

yes he use byakugan to find chakura. i talking about Kinshiki i dont recall he use byakugan when fighting sasuke.

I'm still trying to figure out why Kaguya felt she needed an army to deal with these 2....it just seems to me that she was strong enough to deal with them herself.

The only possible explanation is that other Shinjus exist and she expected her relatives to consume the fruits like she did. It's still a plant so there must have been an original divine tree that spread its seeds across different planets like how trees on Earth spread their seeds across a region.

(2) there is unknown otsutsuki planet where kaguya castle located
(3) Kinshiki NEVER USE byakugan in Boruto movie, he fighting Sasuke with sword
(4) Momoshiki USE Byakugan to find Naruto and Bee, he found earth consist of shinju scatter chakura
(5) Hagoromo or even Kaguya NOT BORN with Rinnegan, kaguya backstory already prove this.

Imo, she's preparing to fight against anyone trying to steal the chakra fruit. I mean, if they were the only threat to her then prime kaguya is highly likely a letdown...

It wasn't just them though. Darui was holding his own against Kinshiki for abit, and Gaara Momoshiki. Hell Sauce was fending them both off.

Momoshiki was popping pills to do jutsu. Kaguya did no such thing. Neither seemed to dimension hop to the degree Kaguya was. Maybe that oni version when Momo ate kin? Maybe that for. Would be what she feared or as SenseiSama stated above seems like the most plausible to me.
