We only know that Kaguya gained chakra through the chakra fruit, and that's how the clan spread. I'm sure there are members like Momo/Kin left Hagoromoo and Hamura's followings and did their own thing.

Kaguya is the founder of the Otsutsuki clan and was originally their leader. How can the clan not be apart of her?

What do you mean what are Otsutsuki's? Momo didn't have mokuton though and I think he had Rinnegan because of a chakra fruit he ate from another planet/dimension(think he said it in the movie) can't remember though. It seems every Otsutsuki have Byakugan though we'll except for Hagoromo.
