Minato's no where near as fast as Raikage.

Ay's reaction speed enhances with the Raiton Armor V2 and surpasses Minato's...
Other than that, Minato is better in speed department, shunshin or FTG.

He came off a bit strong but he is right. Minato needed to see Ay coming and react by activating FTG so his reaction is superior.
And yes amaterasu is a slow when used against most war arc characters (not including fodder like K11 of course).It's speed is simply one of those things kishi hyped but eventually made irrelevant.I mean even base naruto who was very low on chakra could counter it without effort

Raikage has faster reaction speed as it was confirmed that Base Raikage's synapses rivaled Minato's and was even higher through having his Raiton Cloak. Minato's FTG accompanied by Raikage's reactions creates the perception that Minato's faster, but Raikage is physically faster overall.

As Genyumaru stated, his reaction speed isn't really all that it's cracked up to be. People are just wanking Minato because he can teleport.

He used FTG for V1 Ae, as he didn't sense his chakra spiking to Bijuu level that Karin did. V2 exudes that level of chakra. No sensing of it = never happened. Not to mention if Bee reacted twice to FTG, that would make him faster than V2 age in his teenage days ... and that would be ****ing laughable.

So, yes, Ae is faster. He also mentally reacted to V1 Ae. That is just ... pathetic.

Not sure if Young Raikage's Max Shunshin was only as fast as V1 Raikage, but it's clear that it was slower as he didn't pump Bijuu Levels of Chakra which would tip off any sensor as you said.

Pretty much. He had to use FTG to dodge V1 speed, when people like Sasuke did it with pure footspeed and Bee smashed him back in V2 form. And Itachi was faster than Bee. In whose right mind is this guy even in the top tiers?

It can only be V1, as he has to go for V1 and then pumps more chakra to get to V2.

Wait what? When did Minato reach into his pocket? If you look in the upper left hand first panel, you can see the FTG Kunai was already implanted (in the same spot Minato FTG'd to) before Ay's initial blitz:

Below Minato are 3 more Kunai which he scattered along with others before Ay blitzed.

Not sure what Retsu is talking about in regards to "reaching in his pocket, and throwing a Kunai" when obviously that wasn't the case. Please clue me in.
