I agree that it's likely that the technology is going to play a significant role in the manga, but I don't think this means that Kawaki isn't at least trained as a ninja. In the promo material he's shown hanging around in the village, and I expect he'll be doing that before he attacks it and becomes Boruto's enemy.

I think the's trained as a ninja, but just rejects the shinobi way. This doesn't mean he won't make use of technology, though.

The only people to every extract a bijuu is someone with a doujutsu, gedo mazou, or a uzamaki clan member justsu. Unless he's some uchiha, uzamaki, or senju descent that chance of happening is mostly unlikely. Also you have to remember that him using a tech is hypocritical and defeats the purpose of motive.

Minato sealed Kurama inside him and Naruto, he probably is able to unseal him.
Or, he has no dojoutsu, no gedo mazo, and he isn't a Uzumaki and probably not a Senju.

My theory how Kawaki is strong enough to kill naruto.
I have a theory. If I am not wrong Momoshiki in the movie said The God Tree was cut and nowhere was Kaguya. So there is still piece of shinju existing in the world (

). And based on that piece of shinju Momoshiki infered that it was cut. Besides Based on that technology is more advanced and in the past there were people who could create sasuke imposter or bijuu chakra pills. What if someone created artificial human who contains that shinju chakra and Sasuke and Naruto DNA. If I am not correct Those dna contains Ashura and Indra chakra, so that artificial would be able to control shinju chakra. Thanks to that powers, that Kawaki would easily defeat or even kill Naruto.

He could have ditched it after he decided to go against the shinobi system, same as Sasuke did after leaving Naruto. I agree that by that point in the manga he no longer has a forehead protector, if he ever had one. But that's like three or four years later. There's still evidence to show that Kawaki was in the village before this point, and it's likely that he was trained as a ninja since he was in the village before.

The bold part. Minato and Hiruzen are not alive either, leaving naruto and Sasuke as the only people with the potential. Both of those guys are rikudou descent.
