Nah VoTE 1 Sasuke still loses. 40m + Insect Jamming. Sharingan won't be able to track Shino, as the Sharingan can only see chakra signatures, not like the Byakugan which can actually pinpoint the human organs etc (greater insight). Being in a forest makes this even worse for Sasuke.

Yeah the Sharingan eyesight is a nice useful factor but Shino has a moveset that can't really be copied and it's not as if Sharingan would give Sasuke an in-depth understanding of insect trivia.

Part 1 Shino isn't proficient enough to perform a feasible version of Insect Jamming yet. It could work a little bit, but not to the extent shown in the War Arc. VOTE1 Sasuke would just be too overwhelming imo.

It's mostly true, he fought against Kankuro at close-range instead of resorting to using his bugs from a distance.

P2 Shino is a different story, but P1 Shino isn't IMO. With Sasuke's Sharingan, there's not much Shino can do unless he tags Sasuke with his female bug.

It was only one occasion that Shino confronted Kankuro in CQC, and that was to plant the female tracking insect on him; and because he knew CQC was Kankuro's weakness being a puppet user. Besides that, he tried staying away from Kankuro and his puppet the entire time.
