Yes he will. Naruto has to step down at some point...pretty sure someone will have to take over once Naruto is, "dead." But it doesn't mean he'll last long lol He'll probably get held hostage, giving Team Konohamaru a chance to save him and eventually Sarada will take his place. Or he'll die somehow in battle.

Actually they both learned it at age 12. In Part 2, Konohamaru was a genin in a squad of genin. Like Naruto was in Part 1.

Kishimoto is making characters who have a large fandom become Hokage now (hence why Kakashi had such a short term after Tsunade's totally unecessary resignation).

And for Konohamaru's character- I think he's content with where he's at, I doubt he even wants the position anymore. That was just his pipe-dream as a child since he had a family member in the position and his elder brother figure (Naruto) wanted it as well. Now, he seems focused on the stability of the village and not ruling it- he's content with just helping mentor the newer generation.

Don't uzumaki clan members live longer then most people? Mito passed kurama on to kushina, and she was born in the warring clan era and died when hiruzen was hokage so she lived a long time and naruto could too
