That sword doesn't necessarily have to be Sasuke's because every shinobi gets one if they need one, Inojin also has swords does that mean Sasuke have him some ? No. The only reason he would give Boruto a sword is if it's special but it isn't because Kusanagi no longer exists.

he is holding Sasuke head band and it got a new scar to match his new scar. So it was obiviously Sasuke is dead and since Sasuke is close to Boruto, Boruto took the head band and wear it as memento.
