Honestly the way I see it, Mitsuki gears towards friendship and family. Instead of chasing after the negative like this Kawaki guy, he is geared towards what Naruto does in a sense. Searching for bonds and relationships. Plus Boruto's file is one of many that he is holding, I think it was more of a tease to think that it was something it wasn't.

Either way I don't doubt that they have a strong relationship.

In that way then Boruto is better than Naruto because his character was setup to fix Naruto's mistakes. We all know what happened when Nruto was chasing after Sasuke's ass lol, he rekt him. Boruto's focus towards self improvement is one of the things that could make this series go right if it ain't messed up. They definitely do have a strong relationship because of their Academy days. They are true friends unlike Naruto and Sasuke.

What bother me the most is that it doesn't operate like a regular Byakugan, so I'm hoping that it's something special in terms of abilities. I don't really see the use of him having the Byakugan other than him seeing through Genjutsu, targeting Chakra points, and being able to see with 360 cope.

Dude, I really think that Boruto was gifted the Byakugan. It mirrors the Kakashi Gaiden. Kakashi got sliced in his eye and then Obito gifts him with the Sharingan. Maybe one of his Hyuga friends, during a mission tells him to protect others with his Byakugan as a parting gift.

I think this one's a unique type of Byakugan because generally there are veins that are sprouted once activated but Boruto's doesn't do that so we will have to wait and see.

Boruto won't get negged by ordinary genjutsu and even KA he will be able to detect but Tsukuyomi one shots him man. If Sarada gets it, it's GG Boruto.

Honestly Kishimoto made Boruto a lot better compared Naruto in certain ways (not talking about the spoilers) just based on friendships. Mitsuki, who was supposed the be the cooler one, respects him highly and thinks highly of him. Sarada his female counterpart, stalks him around with generous curiosity.

He's always in some focus, like how Sasuke used to be the talk of town. Sasuke took most of Naruto's "MC" feel, because they shared it. The MC is supposed to be the focus, but in reality Kishi wrote Sasuke as the focus, and Naruto chased behind him. Though he tried to retcon it a bit towards the end with Sasuke saying that it was equal between them, but the hoards of bad development he gave Naruto wouldn't change that fact.

Still I agree 100% percent. Boruto and Mitsuki are friends, and never had any conflicts with each other. In fact my favorite moments are when:

> Boruto uses his cheating device for Mitsuki so that he would progress as well (in the flash back before he uses the device, he thinks of Mitsuki who also wanted to take part of the exam). He also does it for Sarada and his father.

Their moments are very small, but I enjoy their interactions. No stupid bull crap gay shit. Hopefully it'll stay that way U_U.

Boruto became what Naruto should of been. A darker type character. This lil brat as an Adult has a reflection chapter that Sasuke got towards the end of NARUTO'S story

I saw the potential in him from the start though. From when people called him a Naruto clone before the Movie came out, till the cheating spoilers came out and called him a false prodigy, and after the Movie when people were meh on his character.

I think that it's a unique Byakugan as well. It might even be a special Byakugan, give the Hyuuga some potential in eye evolution that people were hoping for before the Uchiha Clan outclassed them with MS/EMS.

The best thing about the Byakugan is that he won't need direct eye contact, so unless he becomes an idiot overnight. Eye contact shouldn't be a problem.
