Sasuke's bond with Itachi is one that can't be replicated.

He thought about Sasuke in that moment because he regret not reaching out for him when he was younger. That led him to think about other's sacrifice and his regrets. No, the scan clearly shows what kick started the melodrama. That major goal for Naruto remains to be, as always, Sasuke.

Never claimed that he didn't think of other characters. I said that his main motivation has always been Sasuke.
