Sasuke was seen as part of Akatsukii, Akatsukii has attacked major figures in 4 of the five major villages. (Meaning they are an enemy of pretty much all those gathered at the Summit.

This is the equivalent of me going to the UN toting an automatic rifle shouting praise ISIS and expecting not to get shot down. And me trying to kill ppl won't be justified just because they tried to shoot me first.

I mean I like Sasuke, but his attacking the Summit and trying to kill the Kages were in no way justified

Even still Sasuke (a member of a well known criminal organization) was tresspassing on a Summit which held many key world figures. He did so armed and with hostile intent :|

If danzo was such a bad guy, why did sasuke adopt his philosophy of peace by any means? It was a lose-lose situation, either
1. have all of the leaf shinobi die and some uchiha with uchiha taking over
2. All uchiha die and some leaf die with leaf staying in control
3. Kill all uchiha before a civil war

Danzo and itachi knew this and chose the best of a bad situation
