Yeah you're right Hashirama is Native American but I think Uchiha look like Japanese with white in them tbh most anime characters do with the exception of dbz character who just look straight up white

I think the reason for different hair and eye colors is to make the characters look distinct, since most of the anime characters looks the same. Also, they don't have enough features to be assigned an ethnicity.

not all white people are buff, obviously, there are skinny white boys too. Asuka from NGE is drawn like a typical anime character and she is 3 quarters german.

My point was not that white people are buff, it's that manga character drawings do not have enough features to be assigned an ethnicity.
