Well, i would guess it's because he's channeling the lightning current intact around himself, and won't let a tiny bit of lightning channel into someone else, simply because that would create a "gap/hole" which would weaken his so called "armor"

it needs to be intact, around his body, like a shield of course

Having the same nature affinity doesn't make you immune to lightning attacks from enemies...

Once again, what proof do you have that elemental jutsu doesn't work on jugo?
That still doesn't make sasuke immune to lightning also bee got stunned by sasukes chidori....
