Why Caitlynn Jenner didn't deserve the ESPY award

Yes I know, it's old news. But thinking back on it made me wonder, have our standards of courage really stooped so low as to suggest that promoting bodily mutilation is heroic?

Considering that there's no real disparity in the rates of attempted suicide for transgenders before and after *** reassignment (over 40%), and that there's a high percentage of transgenders who go on to later regret surgery (over 20%), it makes me wonder how a man like Caitlynn Jenner can be put on such a high pedestal for advocating an irresponsible solution for a mental illness. :erm:

I'm sorry to say, but injecting a transgender with hormones and mutilating their sexual organs does not improve their quality of life, and in many cases it just makes their life all the worse. Advocating *** reassignment is the same as encouraging someone with schizophrenia not to seek treatment or therapy, that instead it's better to allow them to live a life of make believe. Which is just ridiculous.

And I'm not saying that someone who's trana must be restricted from doing such a thing, I believe everyone is entitled to make their own decisions, regardless of how dumb they may be. But we should be looking for reasonable solutions to decrease the epidemic of trans suicides in the United States. When someone is diagnosed as being bipolar, the correct response is to prescribe them with lithium and schedule therapy so that they can live a better life, Gender Dysphoria should be treated similarly. That is all.

Medical science also agrees these people generally have other mental illnesses as well, IE they believe these people are mentally ill.

Do what you want, but government funding for this is wrong.


Also lets talk about what the bathroom laws are really about... Trannys not wanting to be outed. That's deception at it's highest level, and is information that deserves to be known.

Caitlyn Jenner definitely didn't deserve that award they gave it to her because of the *** change bs not that I care but they should've given that award to that veteran who lost his left arm and leg as a soldier in Iraq, buf he became a track runner and trainer, Noah Galloway or something like that.

I can understand the controversy here. However, it's just that, a controversy. The fact remains that Fallon Fox is supported by a fair portion of the MMA community. Hell, they even have a screening program specifically to include transgendered fighters. Furthermore, transsexualism isn't as simple as moving from A to B and all biological differences. Comes with some biological disadvantages too. Anyway, it's not like they banned her from competing.

I can admit that not every situation is exactly the same; however, if such a point comes that Fallon Fox's performances are more legitimized with time, I'd hope there'd be less barriers to including TG people in competitive sports.

Either way, this doesn't mean we shouldn't recognize the gender of transgendered people. Even with the controversy, freaking MMA organizations managed to do it. xD
