[Theory] Kaidou Pirates being able to survive under water

Well its just a thought I had, i also believe that Jack is a fishmen but there might be another possibility.
In the most recent chapter Kaidou stated that he wanted to create a pirate crew with devilfruit-users only. We all know that devil-fruits side effect is that they cant swim and that they die underwater. So having a crew with only devilfruit users would actually make the whole crew vulnerable on water. I dont think Kaidou is that stupid to not at least think of that. Its also stated that Kaidou knows NO way to kill himself, so i guess he can survive underwater too.

In the One Piece world it is possible to create devil fruits. which Kaidou used to create his army. If creating devilfruits is possible i dont think its impossible for gene-manipulation. So we know he is called 100 Beast Kaidou. He is portrayed as a perfect-undestructable being. Maybe he was a test-object to be the perfect being? Since punk-hazard we already know gene-manipulation is possible. So maybe Jack also had a gene-manipulation and thats why he survives under water.

Jack can breath underwater because he is a fishman, or at least part fishman. He can't move underwater because he has a DF.

I don't think Kaido has tried to drown himself, because that death would be too simple. He wants to die dramatically, or not at all.

Anyways, I'll just repeat it: It's probably a Fishman, but it'd cool if it was a crew of immortals.

It was said you can only eat 1 DF or you'll explode, though this technically hasn't been confirmed since being brought up and we have no history behind the concept i.e. Jabra never mentioned about some person actually eating a 2nd and people seeing him explode it was all hear say to Jabra.

But what about the artificial fruits being made by Caesar? Did they carry the same effects? Couldn't Caesar make multiple sheep SMILEs? On top of that, the artificial users could transform parts of their bodies something I don't recall real Zoan's doing i.e Marco can't make a phoenix head from his arm and hit someone with it like sheepshead did. So IF they can eat more than one AND choose which area changes and when/how could they have made fish SMILE to help fight the weakness of having a DF based pirate crew? Also do we know what would happen to a DF user that ate a SMILE?

Well we don't know if Jack took SMILE, he already had a zoan df.. And we don't know all the effects and side effects of synthetic df...also BB has obtained two df abilities, tho the second was obtained by unknown means. So it is possible for some people potentially

i LOVE this theory! I was 100% sure about this dude being a fishman and even though he still might be.. this is the type of way Oda thinks and i'm surprised no one thought about it. The first time they introduced the idea of man made devil fruits i had the idea that there would be no way these man made ones didn't have ANY drawbacks compared to the originals. Since we have not seen these yet its possible they can survive the sea but have a lack in ability or length of ability.

he doesnt look like those types of guys like kuma would agree to be a test object, also whitebeard was known as the strongest man in the world but what happen to him? it hurts me saying that but i think theres a catch to kaido's title.
