I may be missing something simple here but why can't I delete my thread? I go to edit on the first post but there's no delete option. What am I missing?

I didn't know you needed that to delete your threads. Ok, I had a thread in OP section that should be removed "Did Brook know Roger" I meant to say Dragon but messed up the title. Thanks for the reply though. Also you can delete this one now too.

You need to be a Premium member if you want to delete your thread yourself :

You can report it asking it to be removed or link a section mod or send me the link to the thread.

Where is the button to delete or open a thread?

I know about close thread button and found it but other buttons were not.

Explanation.

There is a bar just above the Original poster's post. There you will find "Rate this thread", "Subscribe to this thread", "Search Threads", Thread Tools", etc.

If you made a thread, you will find another option there called "Administrative".

If you click on that you get two options :-

"Close Thread"
"Delete Thread"

I am a Premium User, but for some reason I can't seem to be able to delete my Threads. The only option that appears is Close Thread but not Delete Thread.

I've seen 'Delete Thread' a couple of times (usually when I don't want it deleted xd) but yeah, usually when I check Administrative, Delete Thread isn't there.

You must be registered for see images

Just to clarify, I can't seem to be able to edit the first post of the thread I linked either so is it linked to that? I mean, is it impossible to delete threads after a specific period has passed..?

Bold is the reason.

After 20 days pass (I think that's the limit for Editing posts for Premium Members), you can't edit your posts anymore. As that post is the original post of the thread, not being able to edit the post means you can't delete the thread either.

I think there is a similar time limit on closing threads also. :hmm:
