Why exactly do people think RSM = Rinnegan.

Maybe it's this ^ people think is = Rinnegan. I don't even know.

take both RSM and Rinnegan out of whatever context you are thinking of(possible Naruto and Sasuke)

RSM abilities

1 - Universal Comprehension of Chakra(supposedly lol)
2 - Rikudou Senjutsu and so Goudama and flight
3 - Sensing
4 - databook says reaction speed are on par with JJ madara.
5 - Jesus healing powers(possibly a derivation of the first ability)

RSM doesn't even give you a chakra cloak. That happens when combined rikudou senjutsu with kurama cloak. Hagoromo did not have a chakra cloak. Even ashura doesn't seem to have a chakra cloak when in his avatar.

Also Bijuu KKG are not part of RSM.

Rinnegan abilities

I'll list all seven path abilities as one but we all know what they are.

1 - 6 path abilities(preta, animal, Jesus resurrecting powers)
2 - special ability(ameno, limbo) blah blah
3 - possible dimension portal making
4 - Sensing abilities(debatable)
5 - Not sure whether to list rikudou chakra.

So how is it RSM = Rinnegan.

RSM alone will not give you an avatar(Ashura had both yin and yang). yin gives you the ability to create form out of nothing). Sounds like how avatars are made. So gedo statue neggs.

Naruto = Sasuke does not mean RSM = Rinnegan

After all Ashura = Indra. Ashura had a lot more than RSM and Indra had a lot less than rinnegan.

If RSM = Rinnegan is based on Naruto = Sasuke. I could argue RSM = MS + rikudou chakra based on Ashura = Indra.

Not sure how Naruto cheats death. He has no counter to human path.

Rinnegan > RSM > EMS.

Thing about Naruto is he alone doesnt have monstrous strong chakra as he is not of direct lineage of Ashura. Rather a branch lineage.

Give Hashirama or Tobirama RSM and look at how they easily match Rinnegan. Naruto needs Bijuu chakra to be on par with a full fledged body descendant of Ashura.

Maybe when Naruto is older his chakra will grow more powerful with help from kyuubi link.

Hago said he gave his power to ashura. The seals are for taking care of kaguya. Naruto and Sasuke did that, the seals vanished but their power ups remained. Hagoromo had no need to give ashura the seals so just power.

Before the powerup they were supposedly equals. But as of now, Naruto has access to the 9 bijuu if he wanted. So bijuu KKG. I don't see that in those equations.

At the end of the day, I rather be a Yin type with Rinnegan/EMS.

Naruto got all that chakra but really what's the point of it? All he can do outside of fighting is make a million shadow clones to build a village.

Sasuke can travel dimensions and shit. Sasuke probably can visit the spirit world. With Jugo and Karin, he probably can create his own "liveable" dimension too and create bijuus from senjutsu chakra that jugo can generate.

In other words... If it all about fighting..Yeah..RSM would be the best pick. But if it all about exploring life and creating new things, Rinnegan is the best pick.
