The thread of minamoto made me think of that

Does the existence or non existence of god really impact our life directly or even indirectly ?

Isn't this a false premise? If God exists, then God has always existed, and it is impossible to conceive of a world without God. If God doesn't exist, then God never existed, and it is impossible to conceive of a world with God.

If God existed or didn't exist at some point, but does not exist or does exist now, it wasn't possible to notice, or else, I mean, we would have a more conclusive option here. XD

You don't know whether a god exists or not, so it comes down to belief. Some people can get on with their lives without believing in the existence of any deity, others choose to do so with their beliefs in god(s). It all comes down to the individual.

Before I started believing in god, I use to eat at subway, but now I thankfully don't, so yeah the outcome was positive

I have a grand aunt in Afghanistan. Recently, her husband said if it wasn't for his fear of God, he'd kill her and their daughters... So an immediate impact on me is my grand aunt's still alive? Dunno.

It's f*cked, I know.

At first I had no idea that god existed, but then Dark Souls 3 came out. He's clearly there, but only in the video game. Outside the video game, that conundrum has yet to be solved.

While this indeed we cannot verify as false (as that's its premise) I don't see what this has to do with the topic at hand.

The OP isn't asking if God makes difference to the existence of the world (as that would indeed be a topic for your reply to fit in) but rather, does the existence of God (or belief in it) have impact on the life of an individual, beliver or not.

I believe this is what OP meant to say.

With this as a topic, then the answer is an absolute yes. Both on moral, existential and practical level. The idea of God pierces through our very being and cannot be ruled out without affecting our existence.

You'd think after all the physical and emotional trauma Dark Souls would cause one to think "There is No GOD!". Hm, live and learn I guess. :coffee:

God is the one who made us,and taught us how the live the righy way in order to go to heaven, and showed us the wrong ways, and told us that if follow them,we will go to hell.
Well, this clearly shows how much impact he has on us.

Well, after being in Dark Souls for a couple years, I've learned that there is definitely a Satan: Giant Dad.

Jesus has to be Solaire.

I am my own GOD, i made myself to cause and the cause is "me". Humans have no choice when they are given birth, thus neither do i remember why or who choose to place me in this fragile body. Until the day i cease to exist, my essence will stand corrected.

Accepting a all powerful being is against my policy, to me....only Physics is the Holy Bible. To answer your question, yes god "existing" inside this universe does impact everything, but existing outside the 4th dimension is not the same thing.

This all depends on your definition on God. So if your definition of god is an all powerful and knowing being on a different plain of existence then we have no way of knowing if he(so the feminists don't attack me)/she exists. Not like it would make any difference in my eyes because that would mean on more people would believe but still believe that their way is right only causing more wars. And God wouldn't care because he/she's focusing on a better race with less flaws or something. And if your definition is just a powerful person then any bodybuilder will do.
