Chapter 15 - フェニックスフォース(Phoenix Force)
A pink haired women floats above earth. Her hands in a Vaayu Mudra positioning as she begins to flinch. She sees visions of many explosions going off around the world. She sees a woman with red hair turn to face her. The woman grabs her by the neck and throws her down.
As Sakura lay still on the ground the red haired woman stands above, her back turned towards. Sakura watches as she opens her arms and a great fire covers the entire blue sky creating a red darkness that then begins to rush into the red haired woman’s body.
Sakura opens her eyes panting from the vision as she clenches her head screaming in pain. In the complete silence of space.
Sakura flies towards Earth at blinding speed and lands atop the Avengers penthouse where Charles sits on his hover chair, looking out at the bright Nevada.
“I'm moving to Nevada. Either there or kill myself.” Charles says turning around smiling at Sakura who stares blankly at him confused.
“A quote by Raymond Carver. What is it that’s troubling you Ms. Haruno?”
Sakura sits down at one of the white decorative tables as Charles hovers next to her handing her a cup of water. Sakura takes a sip as her hand is shaking and then sits the cup on the table as she looks up at Charles.
“I saw something enter Hinata… I think it’s the Phoenix you were speaking of.” Sakura says.
“You said you saw it enter her correct?” he asks.
“Yes… it was a dark red flame.”
Charles begins to sweat in panic as he gulfs down his entire cup of water throwing his glass cup to the ground.
“We have little time… very little time. I need to speak with all the Avengers X again.”
“Another damn meeting. It’s 8 in the morning I don’t wake until 2 at the least.” Choji says.
“I wonder why…” Deadpool says snickering.
“Ugh… I’m gonna kick your ass one of these days.” Choji whispers to himself.
“This time it’s an emergency. I need you all to suit up and prepare yourselves for the worse. A great terror is coming, and if we aren’t even in the way prepared… we will die.” Charles says.
“So what is this us taking the bull by the horns. Preparing ahead of time.” Shikamaru says.
“Exactly. Just get prepared for now. Not sure exactly Rogers plans on us doing afterwards but I’m sure our fearless leader will think of something, correct?” Charles says.
“Yea, a plan will come into fruition. By working together to create one.” Steve says.
“Well in that case let’s start this right now. What exactly are we dealing with so everyone can know, Charles?” Tony asks.
Charles sighs as he cuffs his hands in his lap and looks around at all of the heroes who stare at him, all concerned with what was going to come for them.
“It’s called The Phoenix Force.” Charles says.
“Son of a… are you sure about this professor?” Logan asks.
“Yes, and for those of you who don’t know of the Phoenix Force I will tell you everything I know. The Phoenix Force is an Extinction Level Threat. They first appeared through Jean Grey, then through Rachel Summers and many, many more. After its disappearance Cyclops found it yet again inside of an egg. Instead of keeping it as a weapon Rogue chose to shoot it off into the Negative Zone. Where we thought it would be lost forever, but instead it has hatched and fused with Hinata Hyuga.”
“Hold up a second… but how could it have…”
“Naruto… I think we both know how… remember when we were taking power from the entire Negative Zone… It must have happened then…. You were the last one standing out of all of us… you had to have seen something…” Sakura says.
“Now that you mention it… I did see something hit Hinata and turn her hair red but… why her… why her out of all people dammit.” Naruto says punching the wall beside him creating a large boom that creates cracks throughout the room.
“I knew this was a terrible idea!! Yet you all insisted you needed to go back to the damn Negative Zone and train! Now we got an even bigger problem than Doom on our hands!” Tenten says walking up to Peter and grabbing him by his suits collar.
“Where the hell was Gin when this was going down huh? Guess he just didn’t care about whether you all survived or not right? We’re just a bunch of tourists here anyways! Speaking of which you said Naruto was your brother yet you let something like this happen to one of his friends!” Tenten shoves Peter away and he falls onto the ground gritting his teeth.
“And what the hell are you and Sakura so upset about Naruto!? Oh you understand this is partly your fault as well don’t you!? Damn fools all of you! Don’t you know that we just want to end this and go home! That’s all we’ve ever wanted! Yet you start up another war that we just don’t need!”
“That’s enough Tenten! Leave this room at once!” Tsunade yells making the room shimmer. Tenten whips the tears from her eyes and bumps shoulders with Tsunade as she exits the room.
“These meetings are better than premium cable I tell ya.” Deadpool says pouring more caramel on his popcorn.
“She’s had enough of it that’s all. Just let her calm down. Tony you should ready more of the Iron Legion to protect people. Avengers X you heard Charles. It’s time to suit up.” Tsunade says.
“Wait just a second Tsunade. It’s not your call to just start storming into battle. Charles are you sure there isn’t a more peaceful route we can take to protect everyone?” Steve asks.
“Not if you want to attempt to talk to The Phoenix Force. But to do that it would have to be through Hinata herself.”
“You think they would even listen bub? I mean we sent them flying into The Negative Zone heh I’d be pissed if I were them. Way to pissed to talk things out. I’d want blood.” Logan says.
“Either way I’m readying more Legion. Plus Tsunade knows what she’s talking about Steve.” Tony says making Tsunade blush as he leaves the room.
“Ugh. Everyone suit up. A more peaceful option has to come across our minds sometime soon.” Steve says.
Hinata walks into Tenten’s room to find her staring out of her humongous glass window that cover nearly the entire wall.
“Are you alright Tenten?” Hinata asks.
“I’m fine Hinata. Who we should really be worried about is you. We don’t know what they’ve done to you or your hair for that matter.” Tenten says.
“Yea I know, but I sort of like the red hair now.” Hinata says making Tenten chuckle.
“Ha! Only you would find some good out of a situation like this. It used to be you’d always be looking down and shying away. I suppose this Earth has brought the stronger side out of all of us ninja.” Tenten says.
“But you shouldn’t go into outburst though. I understand we have to stand up for ourselves but pointing fingers at each other isn’t going to solve a thing.” Hinata says making Tenten look down to the ground.
“I understand. It’s just… I’m tired of being here Hinata. I miss the leaf village so much and I don’t see us returning any time soon.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll return soon.” Naruto says entering the room. Hinata begins to blush as he stands next to her.
“What makes you so sure of that?” Tenten asks.
“Well we have even more power than Galactus had. We should be able to travel anywhere we would like to.” Naruto says.
“It wouldn’t work…” Hinata says.
“Why not? It seems like a plausible explanation to me. I mean we should be able to travel to any universe we would like to travel to.” Tenten says.
“We can travel across planets. Even through many Galaxies. But dimensional traveling it’s… it’s far more complex than just teleporting yourself to where you want to be. Because it doesn’t exist here. We have no idea how Galactus found us the first time but someone else had to help him get there.” Hinata says.
“Dammit… just when I thought there was hope. I wonder who could have helped him. Whoever it was started a chain of event that has damn near killed us all.” Tenten says.
“Whoever sent him there is a demon. A demon who unleashed a monster on our planet to take it away from us!” Naruto says.
“Let’s be glad Galactus underestimated the power of chakra or we would all be dead most likely.” Tenten says. Naruto nods and looks back to see Black Widow pass by the room.
“Well I guess we will talk later on the field. Tenten I hope you feel better on this planet. Even if we are here for a longer stay.” Naruto says walking out of the room. As he is leaving, he finds Black Widow in the hallway leaning against the wall.
“Hey can we talk for a sec?” She asks smiling.
“Sure.”
“Well… I just wanted to thank you for saving me back when Apocalypse was in charge. It’s like a miracle you coming out of those sewers to find me. Damn near bled out but I was still able to make it.”
“Ah it’s no problem at all. You’ve been nothing but a pleasure to be around and you make an awesome Avenger. I actually couldn’t picture the team without you ha!” Naruto says scratching his nose. Natasha smiles blushing a bit and begins to walk pass him.
“I’ll repay you someday Naruto. Life is precious to me.”
Hell
“Sasuke Uchiha… stand.” A rumbling voice says, as Sasuke is sitting in a dark room with black stoned walls that have lave coursing through each of its crevices. Sasuke walks through the large double doors that are dripping with blood that leaks from bloody bodies of angels that cover the ceilings.
“You are wondering how those bodies got up there, aren’t you?” A colossal black figure with large horns on his head in chin that stick out as large as sky scrapers, stands from his throne and approaches the ninja who begins to sweat in fear.
“Answer me or I will kill you where you stand.” The figure says.
“I… was… but how did you…”
“I go by many names. Satan. The Devil. Lord of the Pit. God of all Endless things. But you… you will call me Marduk. Now bow before me Sasuke Uchiha.”
Sasuke quickly bows and lays both of his swords to the ground. He shivers and sweats as he garners up the courage to speak to the large Marduk who breathes fire with every gasp of air.
“Marduk. God of all endless things. I have come to you to ask for a favor. To ask for you to train me for a battle that I must face in the near future. A battle that will decide everything that happens from here on out. The last battle I face.” Sasuke says then looking up at Marduk who scowls in anger.
“Train you!? That’s what Doom sent you here for!? Foolish both him and you both! What makes you think you would survive even a second of my tutorage!?” Marduk yells. Sasuke then grow still standing to his feet. He takes out his sword and points it at Marduk who begins to smirk.
“My hatred.” Sasuke says in a dark tone that makes the lave pits surrounding them burst into flames.
“Hmph… you are a very peculiar human. Most tremble and beg their God for forgiveness at the very sight of me. Many curse me and tell me to do my worst.” Marduk says shrinking down to 7 feet and approaching Sasuke giving him a flaming piece of black stone.
“Now before I tell you to sign your soul over to me, I will tell you to listen to what I have to say, and when I tell you about me, and about what exactly is going to happen to you during your time here. If you ask to exit from my Hell. I will kill you. If you do not accept my ways and ask to follow a lighter path. I will kill you. After I have explained everything I will ask you to state your thoughts in a final verdict of your opinion, if you do not give me the correct answer… I will kill you.” Marduk says as Sasuke begins to sweat in intense panic.
“Do not panic. Listen and learn. Think and absorb. For I will tell you exactly how those bodies became the roof above you and why they bleed endlessly.” Marduk says changing the room around them to a fiery landscape.
“Victoria I take this stone and put it upon your finger to signify we are one. We will rule the fires of this lake and the entire Hells-cape in which we represent. Nothing will stand in our way.” A young Marduk says as the flames wrap around them and Victoria begins to shed tears.
“Why… what is this…” Sasuke finally musters up the courage to speak as everything pauses around him.
“The love of your life will fade away… everything you love must be sacrificed.” Marduk says as the flames begin twisting around them and they land into another scape. Marduk is seen standing in front of Victoria who is holding a little baby boy that rests deeply in her arms.
“The things that you do… what you are… it’s terrifying.” Victoria says as tears begin to run from her eyes.
“You want to take my son away from me as well? You think I don’t deserve either of you anymore?” Marduk says as Victoria turns facing a portal leading to Earth.
“What you deserve. Is death.” Victoria says entering the portal.
Time pauses around Sasuke and Marduk again, as Marduk turns to Sasuke and puts his claw on his shoulder.
“Pain will be felt… it will fill your chest…” Marduk says slicing Sasuke’s chest from the tip of his left shoulder to the bottom of his left thigh. Sasuke falls to his knees screaming in pain as blood rushes from his body.
“It will pierce your heart…” Marduk says slicing Sasuke again but from his right shoulder to his left thigh. Sasuke falls face forward onto the ground and flying demon approach his body carrying him away and throwing him into a ginormous pot of boiling water.
“What is it they said? He was baptized in the waters of Jordan. You are baptized in the waters of the sea of death.” Marduk says as Sasuke emerges from the waters screaming and jumping from the large pot onto the ground. His skin is a platinum grey that emits red steam that melts the ground around him. He stands to his feet looking at his skin as it slowly fades away back to his normal color.
“You’ve turned me into one of you. Sasuke says looking up at Marduk who grabs Sasuke by the neck.
“Survived the pot… now… after seeing me lose my wife and my son to my wicked ways. What is your opinion Sasuke Uchiha?”
Sasuke looks into Marduk eyes beginning to panic. Thinking of Itachi as he slowly begins to close his eyes crushing those memories, and the memories of everything else he had once been infatuated with.
“To hell with them all.” Sasuke says as Marduk throws him onto the ground.
“Let’s begin. You will first face one thousand demons. Then two thousand. Three thousand. So on and so forth. Until you can use your cursed spirit form as a whole. Now, let the training commence.” Marduk says snapping his fingers making one thousand demons appear around Sasuke who enters his Cursed Spirit mode. His skin turns into platinum grey and he grows two large webbed hands on his back. His hair grows down to his waist and he grabs his two golden swords from the ground then flying into the sky.
“Let’s see what this thing can do then…” Sasuke says as he flies toward the first wave of demons. They are large standing at 7 feet, their red skin is steaming and thick as they swing their large arms toward Sasuke who swings his sword cutting the horns off of one of them. The demons then begin to grow wings and fly into the sky creating a large tornado of themselves that fly around Sasuke who grins flying upwards and piercing the demon at the eye of the tornado. He slices it in half and throws his sword into the tornado and attaches a string of lightning to it.
“Be gone!!! Sword of Zeus!!!” Sasuke yells as a large explosion of lightning comes from the sword blasting away the demons. A great many of them explode from the shocks of lightning that emit from the sword and Sasuke lands to the ground picking up the sword. The remaining demons run towards him as his Cursed Soul state fades away.
“Fight harder to keep it going!!! You won’t achieve perfection by just standing there!!! If you do not survive you die!!!” Marduk says.
“Dammit…” Sasuke says as a demon swings its arm downward in front of him. Sasuke dodges the attack and quickly brings down his sword at the demons arm cutting it off. Sasuke then senses a demon approach his six o clock and ducks making the demon smash the others head in. Sasuke turns stabbing the demon behind him in the heart.
“Burst!” Sasuke yells creating a large lighting mask over his sword that shocks the demon making it explode into pieces.
“C’mon!! I’ll kill you all!!” Sasuke yells as a demon hits his back making him tumble forwards onto the ground. Sasuke sticks both of his swords into the ground upright. He stands in between them both panting and claps his hand conjuring up black lightning around his entire body.
“BUUUAAAAAHHHHH!!!!” Sasuke yells as a large wall of lightning that stands 100ft tall and stretches on for miles comes from both swords. Sasuke begins to turn and as he does, both of his swords do, along with both walls of lightning. The walls begins moving faster and faster as the demons attempt to run from it they are hit by its force shocking them to death. The wall then moves faster as if it were a jet engine attempting launch. Every demon with it is cut to pieces by its force and the walls then disappear leaving nothing but a bloody landscape of flesh.
“You survived the first one thousand. Not much of a feat but I will be surprised if you make it past two thousand. Now get up Uchiha. I don’t train dogs.” Marduk says. Sasuke is on his knees panting. Blood streams down his back as his wounds begin to heal. He looks up to see the two thousand demons marching towards him and he laughs standing to his feet.
“Laughter!? You dare mock my soldiers!? I will send them all down at you at once!” Marduk says as thousands upon thousands of flying demons come from the crevices above him and begin moving towards Sasuke.
“I told you… I’ll kill them all!” Sasuke yells picking up his swords and beginning to slice his way through the demons. He jumps into the air swinging his sword with a tremendous might that cuts the heads off of 20 of them at once. Sasuke is then rammed in the stomach by one of the demons horns and is sent flying backwards into another demon who bear hugs him. The demon holds on to Sasuke tightly as he begins to heat up. Sasuke breaks free from the demons hold and quickly dashes away as the demon explodes.
“These things… they’re really trying to kill me.” Sasuke whispers to himself.
“Of course they are. This is a fight to the death remember.” Marduk says scowling. Sasuke scowls back entering his Cursed Soul mode and flies into a demon his swords forward as if he was a spear. His entire body pierces through the demon creating a large hole that spews blood as Sasuke enters the next demon piercing through him in the same manner. Sasuke continues on piercing through hundreds of them in seconds.
He then tumbles onto the ground covered in blood and flesh. He pants and spits as he whips away the blood from his eyes looking around at the demons, who begin to rage in anger. They begin to fly towards Sasuke who jumps in the air slashing them down from the sky one by one. The demons then begin breathing fire and Sasuke jumps among the flames dodging them. Sasuke teleports into the air and the demons begin moving upwards towards him.
“I have the power to destroy planets now! This is nothing to me!!” Sasuke yells pointing both of his swords towards the enormous wave of demons.
“Hell On Earth.” Sasuke says as the hands on his back create a symbol on its palm. Spears of lava then spew from the palms piercing the demons as they fly upward. As most of the demons are pierced by the lava some make it to Sasuke who kicks one away and slices another. One approaches his backside but the hand turns and shoots a spear at the demons head decapitating it. Sasuke stops the lava spears and begins to fight the remaining demons hand to hand, seething his swords.
“Kill him! Show him hell!!! The true hell!” Marduk says.
Sasuke punches a demon in the stomach exploding his insides that cave in and the force of the impact hits the demon behind it blowing it away. Sasuke does a backflip landing atop a demons head punching the top of it, killing the demon instantly. Sasuke then turns his hand into a platinum spear and jumps forward into the air onto the ground and begins slicing away at all the demons’ stomachs.
“Alright… about… 1000 more left…. Time to end this… with a bang.” Sasuke says as he unsheathes both of his sword and throws them to the ground. He slaps his hand on the ground creating a large boom deep underneath him. As the last of the demons approach the ground around the sword begins to crumble and a large whirlpool of fire and rock begin to swallow them in.
“I told you I would kill them all!!! I promised everyone that I would become the ruler over the ninja world!!! They didn’t listen!!! They don’t believe I can do it!! But this… This is proof!!! This is proof I can achieve anything!!! After this I will destroy everything everyone cares for!!! No one will get in the way of my end game!!! And they tried to teach me!! An Uchiha!!! What it is to be a ninja!! Well… I have a new meaning to the word TRUE NINJA. A GOD OVER ALL WHO STAND IN HIS WAY!!!” Sasuke yells as the ground around him implodes bursting into the sky, and everything around him pauses again.
“I never told you why those bodies bleed endlessly… Did I?” Marduk says landing to the ground.
“No, you didn’t.” Sasuke says panting.
“It all started sometime after my wife took my son. It’s when angels had begun attacking my hellscape. I easily defeated them with my army of rebirthed human filth. The ones you got through fighting those things. They tore those angels apart wing by wing. I don’t know exactly what you expect to achieve from becoming ruler over one planet, because there are most likely many like yours in your universe. Many who use the same chakra energy that is derived from the Ōtsutsuki clans precious trees. There is so much more out there for you to take. If you truly wish to take it Sasuke Uchiha. You will have to endure this every day. Soon you will have to kill angels. Kill people. Kill your loved ones. Are you interested in continuing on with such a life?” Marduk asks. Sasuke looks around at the blood filled landscape and down at his bloody hands and arms. He then looks up at Marduk staring him in the eye.
“I will continue on with this life until I die. Itachi didn’t give up. Neither will I.”
Well.... It's been a while XD Wasn't joking when I said I was going to start working extra hard on these to get the writing up to par with the amount of plot that is happening at this moment. There is just so much to tell and to do that it needs to just be top KeK. So bear with me please! I will have Chapter 16 out as soon as possible I promise loves! <3
