So if Sasuke was relaxing at home with his family, raising Sarada and being too lax on searching for future threats and when the future threats come and Sasuke isn't prepared and gets destroyed, you telling me you wouldn't be here today with the same topic name saying Kishi made Sasuke look bad? :nefer:
They're not saying him being on a mission is bad, just the fact that he never bothered visiting Sarada or his wife after he left but opted to visit his best friend instead...
What was is that kept him away and prevented him from seeing them for that long? It just doesn't make sense...
Kishimoto wanted to tell his kids a message through Naruto/Sasuke. That even if he neglected them due to his duties as a mangaka, he still loved them. He was just trying to push that idea.
I wouldn't be too bothered by it as Kishimoto offered closure at the end of Gaiden anyway. A family portrait and Sarada is satisfied in the end with her dad.
