I think Goku's "new ability" or rather the mix of two already existing abilities, very cool. I like the idea, as well as the look of it (red/blue with white hair).
But the show itself is still meh.
- The artwork and animation is still not good most of the times
- The idea of a tournament that decides the fate of universe 6/7 because of food is retarded in my opinion
But the thing that bothers me the most now is Hit. He used to be the most interesting new character, but turned out to be just one more lazy and unbelievably powerful dude. I mean, DBZ never took itself very serious, but the latest episode was ridiculous. So apparently Hit is just some random assassin that is more powerful than freaking gods? Does Toriyama now what it means to have the power of a god? The Supreme Kais are not powerful, I know, but normal people without any relation to gods and god-ki shouldn't be able to even come close to someone like Goku/Vegeta/Beerus. Yet, Hit has this ridiculous amount of power and didn't bother to train/improve in his life before, just as Frieza. And I hated this silly excuse back then already, it is one of the reasons why I disliked "Resurrection F" and dislike "DB Super".
I thought the power-scaling couldn't be worse after DBGT, but it definitely did, lol. By miles actually.
