Comparing me to beanz when I rarely defend Neji/Hygas.lol I defend every character and charaters you couldn't comprehend on my worse day bored on this site. Ofc youre new and live on this site like Beanz (intenet friends are so cute when they have crushes for each other), but My history shows I defend the hardest characters and stay barely defend the easy spoon fed ones. This is the reason why this site died, "Ama gg, WD gg, ftg gg, genjutsu gg, 7 gates gg" etc

I think this Matchup is interesting because it's never been done before and its a high diff battle either way.
I agree that Minato and Itachi probably win, just because their combat style meshes together better than Gai and Kisame's does

I'm not good with these versus matches, and it's a ***** to dig for manga scans, so this is probably hella wrong, but I believe it could go either way. Mainly, I might change my stance and say that Kisame and Gai can take this, if they play their cards right. Key feature being that Itachi runs out of stamina like he did with Sasuke, and having 2 chakra monsters with deadly attacks could give Itachi hell. Of course Minato is a giant help, but I'm not sure if it will be enough.

Manga intel? Minato doesn't know anything about Kisame, but he probably knows about the basic taijutsu that Gai uses.
Itachi and Kisame know everything about each other since they have been partners and more likely seen each others skills.

I think the real game changer here being Gai's speed in 7th gate and Kisame's giant chakra pool. Gai's Hirudora, which will give Minato a tough time, unless Minato hasn't already prepped his Kunai's, Gai can actually have the advantage in speed. If Minato actually has his kunais prepped, which I doubt, then he will have the advantage and can arguably end this battle quickly. Kisame's

If Kisame stays underwater, I don't think he will get hit with Genjutsu, and Kisame is much more agile underwater, so Susano'O would probably just slow Itachi down, not to mention Kisame can just move the body of water freely anywhere he moves. Since this is alive Itachi, his health and using chakra taxing moves could be a problem, especially when fighting against a chakra monster such as Kisame. Most of Itachi basic attacks such as Shurikenjutsu and katon attacks will be useless. His only bet is firing Amaterasu while Kisame is caught off guard or underwater, and I don't think Kisame has the speed to evade it, so that could be something to take note of.

Gai isn't falling for Genjutsu for obvious reasons stated in part 1, but I don't believe that Gai has a way of breaking Itachi's Susano'O unless he goes 8th gate, which is restricted.

Minato's Hiraishin is key and could actually work on Kisame, if Minato actually plans it, but while Gai is busy blitzing him in 7th gate, Minato will be occupied.

Itachi can beat Kisame if he manages to hit him with Amaterasu, but I think Gai can actually beat Minato.

Itachi will be out of stamina once this is over, and Gai will just finish it.
