He is the first character that force me to read shippuden until the end. Because of his mysterious character at least in the end is worth for me to know he is the source of all evil in Naruto.

If Madara or Kaguya didnt forced to be written by Kishimoto by the team, do you think Zetsu is enough to be the final villain? After all he is the man who create the shinobi history at first place.

i think that way tho, kishi want Zetsu to be the final enemy but change it afterward with Madara then Kaguya. It all because of Sasuke he is Uchiha and rival to the main character Naruto. Otherwise we may see Zetsu ordering Obito, Madara and akatsuki.

I also think that way tho, Kaguya taking order from Zetsu and Zetsu claim he is Kaguya son but Kaguya never approve this statement, Kaguya only recognize 2 son in his mind which is Hagoromo and Hamura, Ashura and Indra is her grandson. If Zetsu is Kaguya will Zetsu is the one to protect Kaguya not the way around. Maybe it just me but i think Zetsu is the reason kaguya turn evil and Zetsu is the one force Kaguya to eat the prohibited fruit to gain power to stop war.
