Rinnegan and Sharingan are 2 completely different eyes.. how are you not understanding this.. they do not share the same chakra or the same properties. The reason Madara is able to use Susanoo while having the rinnegan is because those are the powers he unlocked.. and he can use them without his eyes as well.

Sharingan's evolution ends at the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

Off Topic: KingHashirama congrats on 1+ your ability to debate soundly, not exactly logical but better.

OT: Iit's impossible for him to counter Itachi's Tsukuyomi because of the properties which Itachi controls within the Genjutsu to the extent that at minimum several Days can go by in just a few seconds meaning that even if Hashirama tried to respond by the time his nervous system makes it to the necessary end points to produce some sort of worthy reaction the Genjutsu would already have been over.
