Best to worst Rinnegan users

Sasuke, Madara, Nagato and Obito. Who was the best and who was the worst rinnegan user?

Momoshiki and Hagoromo aren't included for obvious reasons.

She doesn't. That eye isn't Rinnegan. One can say that it's the original Sharingan (as it's the God Tree's eye). What Uchiha clan has is the watered down version of it. Rinnegan is also a devolved version of it or something the Sage probably developed since birth. I could never understand how he even developed that.

That is the problem with this manga; it has buried a grave for its own local universe logic. What Kaguya has isn't Rinnegan at all from structural or functional perspective. She doesn't have any paths at all. But her son, magically has them. He developed a completely different eye that grants rings and powers associated with them.

Kaguya got it from the flower. That much is certain. It is even stated that she split her chakra between her sons. Did that cause a mutation? The manga nor the databook even bother to explain. Then we have Sasuke. His eye has a Rinnegan shade like the Sage's, but has Tomoes like Kaguya. It is neither again.

Seems so, i mean her offsprings(rinnegan,tenseigan) and grandchildren(MS,PS and ashura's avatar) seemed to have mutations. Still, kaguya could've just not been smart or skill enough to use the paths but that's speculation so you're right, I'll admit.

She already had some kind of bizarre innate knowledge to merge with the Shinju and then use the Sharingan to create the Genjutsu after eating the fruit. Her lack of grasp of paths would make no sense then. Rinnegan literally means the Samsara eye, which would be the paths and the abilities we saw the eye grants. They are a physical actualization of the eyes' Rings. But now we know that they somehow ... happened. And the manga has nothing to show to back it up.

Databook IV was my last hope as it would shed some light on this problem ... but nothing. Sasuke's eye is even more bizarre, as it is closer to Kaguya's or the actual Sharingan, but lacks one ring of Tomoes ... and isn't red. The Sage calls his mother's a Sharingan, and then a Rinnegan. I don't even know what to say anymore. Did the guy (Kishimoto) simply ran out of vocabulary items and said, "**** it! ALL are Rinnegan" or something?

Not only that but he threw in another rinnegan user. Momoshiki, who's not even descended from Kaguya. I think it's best we don't question it anymore, because this just leads to more confusion. :lol

The Manga/DB call it Rinnesharingan from memory. It does also perform with Rinnegan properties, and Sasuke even called it the Rinnegan according to Madara's version when he awakened it to summon the IT.
