Can you explain why Totsuka would have the capability of moving back an object despite being a spiritual weapon?
Yup.

You must be registered for see images

Susano'o and it's counter parts are primarily composed of Inton energy which is the spiritual energy which governs Imagination and can be used to create form out of nothingness. It and it's anchoring functions can be made ethereal or physical at the users will and if it's destroyed it vanishes back into the nothingness from which it was birth.

The answer to all these questions is simple. It's a fictional universe. Whatever kishi pens is law.
Simple answers for the simple minded.

And you're still missing the point.....

I'll leave this here. I'm done banging my KB against my head

Shikamaru described Tayuya's ghosts as ethereal matter, so spiritual items can certainly have mass.

But this is an invalid argument when Katon isn't spiritual in the first place.

I know I'm not speaking latin, are you slow in the mind my boy?

Which I never denied or brought up as it's irrevlevant to the disscusion

Irrelevant

Never stated otherwise

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd never state this

This is what you stated

Due to people saying that Katon is mass-less. This is what I said

Then you said

Which is fallacious

I will try one more time to be as coherent as possible. In regards to you asking this question

This argument can not be made. I'm have a strong assumption that you were asking this (with 100%) certainty because this was said

You were trying to prove that Katon does indeed have mass because Force(Mass x Acceleration) in the Katon was able to push Naruto back. What I'm trying to explain to you is that Shinrah Tensei does not have mass to move people however, it is capable of doing so. THROUGH GRAVITY. I am aware what is calculated with ST to determine it's impact on the target and not once did I disagree with the fact that Katon has mass.
Fire doesnt gain mass due to gravity that doesnt even make sense, the only thing to power up fire is wind. Gravity has nothing to due with fire style. Shinra tensei is a gravitational push that blast you away like an invisible force/hit. A force/hit has mass. Madaras fire style pushed naruto back because it was like a blast not an usual technique. Enton/ametarsu isnt a blast its just fire in black flames

Please quote me where I said this

I never said it does

Read Waltz's reply

Madaras fire style pushed naruto back because it was like a blast not an usual technique. Enton/ametarsu isnt a blast its just fire in black flames
And I never stated anything different

@bold

I hope your kidding, then the arguments made for Totsuka are moot then according to your logic. However, there's no need to converse with you any longer, it was already explained to me how it was done and your answer doesn't even make sense

I gave you an example of an ethereal object being described as matter which possesses mass. Regardless, Itachi's Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror actually has stability and a physical form, so they do possess mass.

I don't know what to tell you. If you're looking for concrete, scientific facts that align perfectly to reality, then Naruto isn't the manga for you.

No I just need you to use common sense, that's all. You couldn't answer my question correctly so how would know to respond to it correctly?

I believe I did, you're just running around in circles and giving me arguments that have no meaning to what's being argued.
You did? Because I could have sworn another member posted the answer I was looking for and you start spouting something along the lines of "Katon doesn't have gravitational properties" something I never said or relevant to what I was asking or saying

I also remember you claiming how I actually stated that Katon's effect on another person isn't dependent on the object's mass which is clearly taking what I said out of context.

You didn't and that's why there's a branching discussion drag. Complex just asked you if gravity has mass or not. As long as you can prove that gravity is mass-less then you would have answered his question since you were correct to say that Madara's katon pushing back Naruto must mean that it has mass.

Off Topic: I think Complex is just one of the few who prefers to see the complete logic, reason and sense if you wish behind things, ranging from statements, ideas, premises ect. (don't quote this assumption; could be a smart troll too :p).

You'll know when I'm trolling :Sparks:

That's not what I said at all. You don't even know what you're typing

Katon's force isn't dependent on an object's mass. In this case, it's dependent on the user's proficiency and the amount of chakra dispersed into the attack.

My goodness.

Katon's force isn't dependent on an object's mass, but the effect it has on the person is.

This is what I claimed and this is what I'm assuming you agree with as well. The force Katon has on the object will be the same on Naruto as it is with Juubi, but the difference is is that the Juubi's acceleration will be significantly lower than Naruto's due to the fact that it has more mass.

I already admitted that gravity was mass-less. I assumed he was making that point as to debate against the question I made in regards to Madara's Katon repelling Naruto.

Next time, I'll just give him that straight-forward response and move on if it means avoiding a branching discussion.

And I told you it's irrelevant and you kept on trying to explain it to me when I never said anything against this. Again, you did not understand what I was saying because you didn't correctly answer my question and were stating unnecessary sceanrios

Okay. I learned my lesson, so next time, I'm giving you a straight-forward response and moving on with my life.
