It wasn't supposed to be low key. It's not really a secret that I don't respect Naruto's style of combat, or the fact that the manga shied away from tactics and intelligence in favor of flashy explosions and giant chakra monster avatars after the Invasion of Pain arc when Kishi's editor left.

It's literally no surprise that Sasuke didn't defeat Naruto. He was a character built on strategy and tactics, but was shoehorned into fighting Naruto with brute strength and chakra bombs, something Naruto was focused on from the very beginning.

It almost shows how much more advanced Sasuke was that he tied Naruto on his own terms.

yea I'm sure there are a "million" tactics sasuke could have used to sucessfully kill six paths naruto...also that doesn't show how much sasuke is advanced at all...that just shows that sasuke wanted to fight with brute strength BECAUSE they were no better tactics...

you know tactics can be used when fighting with giant monsters...it is not exclusive to hand to hand combat...see the kaguya fight
