If naruto had just gone ahead and died in zabuza arc, there would have been nothing of nine tails fox left (unlike other jinchruukis, as when the die, their beast is set free again, reaper death seal does not do that) akatsuki would have never got their hands on nine tails chakra and no plan would have ever succeeded

There's got to be a limit to it, both in how much damage the sealed rock could take, and how strong the clones could be. If 6 Kaguyas were to show up, i'm sure one of them could break the seal through brute strength, and the others would be too strong to clone.
